JR fought hard to give the Carolina's a football and has worked hard and been a great owner. The only thing I think he currently needs to do is fire Hurney. Hurney has been the only thing holding us back the past few years with his stupid philosophy and his dumb ass drafting. So go fug yourself.

Panthers have enriched my life. JR brought the team here, and I respect him for that. I just think that MH is a master at pulling the wool over his eyes. Last night when Hurney was interviewed on Panthers.com he threw the players under the bus. He said to paraphrase: "We need players who know they'll win, not who think they'll win." He threw the players that he's responsible for getting under the bus. What a douche.

I definetely think JR is not out to take our money and run. He is competitive and wants to win as much as any of us, IMO. That isn't to say that just because JR wants to win, that he is going to suddenly have this great team that makes the play-offs every year and is a threat to win the SB. How many other teams are trying to do the very same thing?

I do think he needs to do better with surrounding himself with the right front office and coaching staff that knows how to create a winning team. Sometimes I think JR surrounds himself with guys that he gets along with (or maybe kisses his ass) rather than hire those who can actually get the job done.

And to that point, Hurney needs to go and should have been fired along time ago. How many losing seasons do we have to have to justify one Superbowl appearance?? Seriously JR, get out of your comfort zone and hire the right people or sooner rather than later you may find your stadium with only a hand full of Carolina faithful - the rest will be Giants fans like so many thursday night... sad.

And no, Rivera doesn't have much of a personality that I've seen so far. So I guess I still waiting to see on him.. I don't want the Panthers to get rid of a Coach without seeing where he is heading. And right now it is only 3 games into his second season. But I sure am getting impatient with his lack of emotion.

AMEN.... This loss really sucks. We have the talent and need to wake up.

We don't need fairweather fans. God knows I want a winner but 24/7/365 I am a die hard Panther fan. Maybe this year, maybe not. One year we will win it all.

The Panthers are just an absolute mess of a bumbling, moronic franchise. The reality is that as long as JR is our owner, we Panther fans may as well find something else to do on Sundays (or whatever gameday happens to be) - either that or continue to torture ourselves. Imo JR doesn't deserve my/our devotion. I know we love cheering for "our" team, but the reality is that we are just another man's bitch, cheering on his ineptitude, faithfully giving him our dollars and always returning like a wife who is continually beaten yet is convinced that this time her man will change.

Jerry won't be around very much longer.

The guy is super old and in very poor health. Luckily he made it through his heart transplant.

I like the guy but nothing is going to change until the day he is gone.
