really how bad are things gonna have to get so rr can be fired and we can bring in chip kelly?

I had to google Chip Kelly, but after I did I like your thinking. Move Rivera to defensive coordinator. Fire Hurney and hire Bill Cowher as GM. Replace Mick Mixon with Rick Flair. OK that may be asking for too much.

There is no way you could ever move your current head coach to DC and replace him as head coach. The locker room rift would be massive.

I hope being embarrassed on tv is enough to wake everyone up to destroy the falcons.

seattle's d is getting sacks and they are quick to the ball but they are struggling bad with i-pro runs.

This is true...but I'm not sure we have even practiced i-pro runs, no less run it in games. Hopefully Chud is watching and not busy drawing up some ridiculous wildcat play with Newton lined up at LG.

lol i'm just kidding, most likely rivera is going nowhere for at least one more season. it's just the thoughts of what kelly could do with newton is scary and i think would work

Everyone knows that we have a very tough matchup against ATL this weekend. The week after that we have the Seahawks, who currently have 8(!) sacks in the first half against the Packers.

The two areas of most concern are defense (can't stop run, terrible gameplans, nonexistent adjustments) and the offensive line play.

It is sobering to watch Russel Wilson out there looking like a seasoned pro. I can only imagine what Cam would look like in a more classic offensive style (one with actual heavy set running plays). I'm starting to think Chud might have drank too much of his own kool-aid this offseason.

Anyway, I think it's totally possible we turn this around. We just played the #1 defensive line in the league and an elite QB that picked us apart. We won't see another line that great, but Seattle is looking really really really scary. The coaches better step up their f'ing games, or heads should be rolling before the season is over.

I guess some good news is that know the entire country thinks we suck butt, so maybe we can sneak up on some teams.

Wilson's offense has 7 pts with a minute left..at home.

You give Cam Newton THAT Seattle D....he will look like a Pro Bowler and destroy teams

    • I honestly wish Julius Peppers had gotten sick of some of Steve's bullshit and put him on his ass. Because I honestly think that was the one guy Steve wanted no part of.
    • Just worry about it next year.  Its that simple honestly.  its way to early to do what ifs.  I could see us trade/cut chuba and retain dowdle, I could see them let dowdle walk and go with Chuba/Etienne and Brooks, and I could see Dowdle and Chuba both stay and see what happens.  Hell, we still have 6 games left THIS season plus possible post-season...what if Rico or Chuba have an ACL tear or severe injury.  I DO NOT want that to happen, but stuff like that does happen.  Remember RB is the most injury prone position in the NFL due to the beating their bodies take so having some extra guys is never bad, just wish it hadn't come at the cost we paid to get him.
    • I think it’s cool that no one can be really certain what the outcome will be.  That’s a lot of progress! This is a real opportunity for us, I’d be happy with a competitive game and thrilled if we sack up for a W.
