So at least Keuchly was awesome.

Honestly, Keuchly balled out in the middle today. One of the few bright spots. Not much of a thread at this point, I'll try and contribute a little bit more to it later. Just felt like some people might need a reminder that we do have some really good young talent on this team.

Yea I wanna see great things from Kuechly and some other players but I hope we losses a lot of the upcoming games. There's no need to win anymore so mind as well play for that top 5 pick next year and draft someone great.

I mean, I'm down on this team as well, but to say "There's no need to win anymore" is pretty dumb. Of course there's reason to win still. There's ALWAYS reason to win, until you are officially eliminated from contention.

Tank the season! You are okay with that, Im not. I rather us go 1-15 and try, then go 1-15 because we want a top pick......

How did Norman look?

Also who all was getting blown up on the OL?

Norman looked okay today, but I wouldn't look tooooooo much into that considering the passing attack we were against.

As far as the offense line - everyone played like poo except Bell and Amini.

I felt better having Kuechly in the middle leading the defense today than I have about Beason doing the same all season. Let the guy play his natural position and learn to be a leader early. And if Beason needs to sit, let him sit...this is more intriguing anyway.

Fwiw, the defense mostly played well, albeit against a very bad passing offense. And special teams was pretty solid. This loss is almost 100% on the offense.

Any time a football team loses and their opponent only scored 16 points, it's pretty much assured that it was by and large the offense's fault.

(AP) — It had been a while since the Carolina Hurricanes had finished practice, with players coming and going from the locker room. Yet Logan Stankoven was still on the ice, leaving a crowd of reporters patiently waiting at his locker. Such is the dynamic for the 23-year-old as the Eastern Conference's top seed heads into Round 2 of the Stanley Cup Playoffs to face the Philadelphia Flyers. Stankoven has been rolling at nearly a point-per-game pace going back to mid-March, including scoring in every game of Carolina's first-round sweep of Ottawa. Beyond the immediacy of that spotlight, though, is the other piece of Stankoven's story: the Hurricanes are betting he can keep growing into the role as second-line center, coming after spending multiple seasons searching for an answer there.
