Cam Pressing Too Much? I wonder why?

Idk, maybe because the dumb ass read option and your lack of spreading defenses out stalls the offense

So what happens next? Their offense get some type of points on the board. Now its catchup time especially if we're in bad field position. 3 FG = Already equals 9 points, 1 TD by you and you're still down

When the last time Cam rolled out and threw the ball which I thought would become one of our signature plays? Only remember the pre-season. I can guarantee more shotgun 4-5 WR sets, no option will make a difference. Move Pilares in motion, do some quick outs. Put Olsen in as your RB and have him run a flat. This is why I refuse to blame Cam because there are MULTIPLE ways that isn't being explored

He's pressing too much because he has to.

In some games he's pressing to do too much because our defense couldn't stop bicycle with a roadblock. Some games it's because our offensive playcaller is calling the game with a twister board and midget amputee strippers while freebasing. Some games it's because the entire team is out to lunch.

On every offensive play (excepting those fuging wildcat plays) the ball goes through his hands. If the mood of the team is that the offense must score every time they touch the ball someone with his mindset (especially without the benefit of some more experience in that situation) is going to try to make a miracle.

    • Push em to the brink!!! Shut em down Freddie!
    • I tend to look at all of these guys and wonder how committed they are to doing special teams? It's a big deal when you're fighting for roster spots. And we need massive refreshes to all phases of the special teams game. And the idea that four or five of these players could see rotational use outside of special teams would be a win. This team has accumulated quite a bit of dead wood over the last five years and its time to take an axe to some of it. These new fellows have a shot to benefit from that if they can really push. That being said, wow that receivers room is crowded right now. I'm not sure if I was a vet player with more than 2 years experience other than Adam Thielen if I'd be too sure of my future here. Tet is guaranteed a spot, Coker earned his for sure and they aren't done with XL developing yet. That's only two to three spots left for the entire room. It's going to be very competitive and better for Bryce's future, too. Safety and linebacker are the opportunity spots here this season. There's room for the right guy and we may see a starter eventually from one of these UDFAs, either by merit or injury.
    • Aho and Jarvis just gripping it too tight right now. Relax, play their 200 ft game and the shots will start to find the net. Freddie has been excellent and welcome back Mista Svechnikov. Burns.....well, thank goodness for Slavin.
