Our returning game is as bad as Safety. The last legit returner we had was Mark Jones.

mark jones wasn't that great. once the blocking schemes changed per NFL mandate he was useless.

He did, true breakaway speed is somthing we have always lacked in a returner... Unlike Al i understand the difrence between game speed and strait line speed.

Pilares is as bright a spot as Lafail was going into the season for a lot of the homers. I cant understand what these homers see in their players. We have a lot of talents but we also have a lot of average and below average players like Lafail and Pilares. Pilares is nothing special. He has no skill sets that is going to make him a Wes Welker type of a player. He has no juke move, nothing. Pilares runs in a "straight line". Hes nothing close to his teammate at Hawaii in Greg Salas and Salas was let go due to some injury.

I dont get how people gets so excited after some lame td by the kid. Pilares had an easy KO ret for a td vs a ST that is far worst than us and had an easy dump off pass from Cam vs Atl. It wasnt like Pilares ran great route and broke tackles for a Td. The td came from great execution from the players. Go back and watch the tape.
