Can say a lot of bad things about JR - but I cannot bring myself to believe that someone who has the competitive spirit to both play in the NFL and rise in the business world like he has doesn't care.

He has antiquated ideas of HOW to win and he's a stubborn old fug - but I assume he gives at least one flying fug, perhaps two.

I know this franchise is extremely disfunctional but if we go 3-13 or 4-12 and we rank at the bottom of the league in both offense and defense I just see no way Rivera sticks around.

The key factor isn't wins or losses, but if JR feels he is losing the fan base. That means he starts losing money, then he might make a change. If the team goes 3-13, it might be enough for JR to pull the trigger, but I doubt it.

Seifert was only here three years. 8-8 with an awesome offense in 1999, then regressed in 2000, then poo the bed in 2001. So I'd wager Rivera will be here through next year at least, as his tenure is looking remarkably close to George's.
