Why the Falcons are pretenders..

1-4 team fans talking junk to a 6-0 team.

Classic

Just because our team sucks we can't debate whether a 6-0 team is legit or pretenders?

I acknowledge the 2012 Panthers have played like poo. I also have watched the 2012 Falcons play several games this year and think they have played like poo as well. Is my statement wrong?

Chiefs

Broncos

Raiders

Chargers

Panthers

Redskins.

Those are the teams they have played. Is it eally a wonder why this team is 6-0? They might literally have the easiest schedule in the league. I know you can say "but no such thing as easy wins in this league." But come on, lets get real. Only played one playoff team from last year. NONE of the teams they have played this year has a winning record. Can we please hold off on the Matt Ryan MVP talk?

I understand your logic. If it was the Panthers beating those teams many would be saying the team isn't beating any "real contending" team. They did that with the Bengals last season.

Anyway, This team needs to beat the weaker or equal teams just the same but they are not. I'm tired of all the endless focus on everything Cam does and not much attention paid to the rest of the players.

Pull up articles on Blaine Gabbert and what do you read? The concerns about him regressing. What you don't read is the endlessing attack on his character and the preceived attitude and mental state like it is with Cam. What you read are endless articles demanding the Jag team to step up and help the QB. What you don't read are articles making much out of Blaine's every mistake. What you do read are wrtiers calling out the VET receivers to step up and do their jobs.

Where are the endless articles doing the same with the 1-4 Panthers? Instead pull up Cam's name and you get endless articles questioning his character and mental state but very little to NONE questiong the team nor any of the other players. Why is that? And what's wrong with Cam's mental state?

Panther Fans, it's time to get angry at the team and media and stop sitting here comparing this team to other teams and wondering why you're not where they're at. The Falcons are 6-0 because EVERY Player is contributing to the team's win regardless of who they are playing. a win is a win.

Just sayig...

There are 10 more games to play.

I would not exactly crown the Falcons just...injuries can happen.

Falcons are doing what good teams do, winning games they should lose and winning games they should win.

I believe either the Giants or the 49ers will kill them.

Old Matt does not like getting hit and both of those teams will hit him early and often...BTW, do they play Seattle?

They'll win the South and be one and done in the playoffs again.

The team simply isn't that good, they have had an easy schedule and play well at home.

We aren't that great either but we have the talent to be.

ATL always finds a way to win and the ball is dropping in their favor to boot.

Not sure what they are pretending to be, the reality is that they are undefeated.

New thread types: This team sucks too! These guys are overrated! See these guys are underachieving!

Whatever makes you feel better I guess.

    • Why are most NFL refs senior citizens lol
    • I can't speak to the sample size on the double ACL tears, I could look into it but I am unsure about the quality of data I am able to find. Anecdotally, I don't think that is common for sure.  Well one giant red flag for Dobbins is that of the 3-5 serious injuries he has had in his NFL career, 100% of them have been the same leg. That's not good and it doesn't bode well for his longevity at all. As I have said several hundred times in this forum(in this case it will be in regards to Thomas Davis), outliers are memorable for a reason....because they are outliers. You don't base your decision making on outliers. That's.....stupid. I am also not high on Etienne but he does play special teams and Brooks does not. Currently, I couldn't blame anyone in the FO for choosing a 3rd string RB that can play special teams and has actually played more than 23 career snaps in the NFL in 2+ seasons.  I am not advocating for cutting Brooks but I don't think it's a player I would consider for anything other than a 3rd string role(and likely competing for it, at that) if I am building a roster for 2026. It's not like they are going to get to see him at 100% in 2026.
    • I'm not going to argue against black helmets, but love our silver helmets. No one has anything similar. If you took all the logos off all 32 team's helmets, you could pick out our helmet easy.
