Panthers prove me Wrong!

Week 10: vs. Denver: Peyton Manning picks a part the Panthers secondary no surprise there and Willis McGahee goes for 100 yards. John Fox back for his homecoming will he light up the scoreboard?

Prediction: Carolina 17, Denver 31

Record: 2-7

Week 11: vs. Tampa Bay: Can the Panthers split with Tampa this season don't think so they learn how to DOOGIE, Doug Martin should teach them well. Tampa has put together nice group of players and weapons for Josh Freeman. Vincent Jackson and Mike Williams working well together two big WR's. Tampa has the 31st ranked pass defense but Washington had 32nd ranked pass defense and the Panthers racked up only 200 yards passing and 82 yards was the Armanti play!

Prediction: Carolina 24, Tampa Bay 35

Record: 2-8

Week 12: at Philadelphia: Offensive line is Michael Vick problem those guys just aren't blocking anyone. Both teams average under 20 points per game. Do the Panthers like playing night games? This might be the QB turnover bowl Newton (29th) vs Vick (28th). Panthers 1-2 against NFC East can they tie it up?

Prediction: Carolina 17, Philadelphia 21

Record: 2-9

Week 13: at Kansas City: DeAngelo Williams or Jonathan Stewart one of these guys should get over a 100 yards. Can the Panthers hold Jamaal Charles under 100 yards? Matt Cassel or Brady Quinn who cares! Can the Panthers win again on the road? Kansas City beat New Orleans.

Prediction: Carolina 21, Kansas City 17

Record: 3-9

Week 14: vs. Atlanta: Is the Falcons still undefeated if so they stay undefeated! Matty Ice might be MVP this season. First game Panthers out play Atlanta only to lose in the end. Panthers harassed Matt Ryan (seven sacks) in Atlanta let's see if they can do it again. If the Panthers don't bring there A-plus game guess what.

Prediction: Carolina 17, Atlanta 28

Record: 3-10

Week 15: at San Diego: Ron welcome home this is how you run the west coast offense! Rivers gets his groove back. 0-2 against the NFC South we mad bro! Novr to Ron my job on the line too it's just business. Look for Rivers, Mathews, Floyd, and Gates to step their game up!

Prediction: Carolina 14, San Diego 28

Record: 3-11

Week 16: vs. Oakland: Raiders just can't tackle it's that simple! Don't count Palmer out he can throw the ball secondary better be on their toes. DMC will more and likely be hurt that's his MO. If the Panthers can defend the pass they take this one.

Prediction: Carolina 24, Oakland 13

Record: 4-11

Week 17: at New Orleans: Saints still has the better team, especially at home. The Panthers 2011 season ended with a thud in the Mercedes-Benz Superdome, losing 45-17 on the day Drew Brees broke Dan Marino's all-time record for most passing yards in a season, and it will be more of the same on the final Sunday of the 2012 NFL season. Sproles should be back from the broken hand and Brees may need this game to get to 5,000 yards passing.

Prediction: Carolina 24, New Orleans 35

Record: 4-12

4-12 for the season!

No shock and awe from Cam this season and the defense is still a ? mark!

Carolina Panthers 2012 Schedule: Breaking down the first half results.

Week 1: at Tampa Bay: Last year the Carolina Panthers swept the Buccaneers in dramatic fashion. Don't expect that to happen this season. Tampa Bay made a few good moves in free agency I expect to hear "Freeman to Jackson" very often in the season opener. Also with Martin in the back field and the new nonsense coach Tampa going to be a sleeper.

Prediction: Carolina 24, Tampa Bay 26

Record: 0-1 CORRECT Tampa 16, Carolina 10

Week 2: vs New Orleans: Nobody has loved what went down in the "Big Easy" this off season as much as us Carolina Panther fans. The Saints**** have dominated us the past couple years no different this year. However with all the troubles, you can never overlook Drew Brees. This is going to be a runway.

Prediction: Carolina 14, New Orleans 42

Record: 1-1 WRONG Carolina 35, New Orleans 27

Week 3: vs New York Giants: Super Bowl champions all need to be said.

Prediction: Carolina 10, New York 24

Record: 1-2 CORRECT New York 36, Carolina 7

Week 4: at Atlanta: Like the Saints****, the Falcons have had the upper hand the past couple seasons. Cam Newton struggled specifically against Atlanta last season. He knows that as well and will struggle again. Carolina will have 10 days to get ready for this one with a Thursday night game the week before. Another lost.

Prediction: Carolina 17, Atlanta 24

Record: 1-3 CORRECT Atlanta 30, Carolina 28

Week 5: vs Seattle: A better question than who will win this game is who will be Seattle's starting QB? I would like to see Russell Wilson get some playing time although it looks like they're leaning towards Matt Flynn. But what about that guy who started for them last year? My head hurts. First win for the Panthers if Russell Wilson is not the starter.

Prediction: Carolina 28, Seattle 13

Record: 1-4 WRONG Seattle 16, Carolina 12 Russell Wilson was the starter.....

Week 7: vs Dallas: Last year coming off a bye week, we lost 30-3. This year we are playing a better team and Dallas usually plays their best ball around this time of the year. Dallas in a rout.

Prediction: Dallas 35, Carolina 17

Record: 1-5 CORRECT Dallas 19, Carolina 14

Week 8: at Chicago: While Rivera would love to beat his former team, I just don't see it happening. Soldier Field is always a tough place to play and Jay Cutler should be in top form at this point of the season. Matt Forte will continue his dominion against the Panthers and Julius Peppers will move to 3-0 against his former team. Agree!

Prediction: Chicago 34, Carolina 17

Record: 1-6 CORRECT Chicago 23, Carolina 22

Week 9: vs Washington Redskins: This should be one of the exciting games to watch this year. RG3 is one of the top QBs to come out in a while and has drawn a lot of comparisons to Cam Newton. RG3 is actually a better passer than Cam look for a close one.

Prediction: Carolina 24, Washington 21

Record: 2-6 CORRECT Carolina 21, Washington 13

I had the Panthers winning 2 games in the first half but had them losing to the Saints and beating the Seahawks.

You should think we win every game. Glad players don't have your attitude. Id prefer to expect wins and be dissappointed then expect a loss and be wrong. Silly me for being optimistic. I guess I should be miserable like you, or a "realist" because I'm sure thats what you'll say. fug that losers mentality. This fan base has too many debbie downers.

Good prediction and I can't disagree with it. Not being a homer but being an outsider looking in, that's exactly what I see also. 4-12 record by beating the Chiefs and Raiders.

If someone could predict everything football game they would not be worth watching. We are improving but we still are not there on offense or defense. We have played some very good teams but came up short.I envision the same kind of play against Denver but lets hope we can finish.

P Manning will exploit every weakness in our pass defense but if our DL can play with the same intensity we will have our shots on offense.I think the offense will have to play better than we have seen this year to beat Denver,Atlanta, NO, and Tampa Bay.
