I thought the call was right, it's the rule that's wrong. The principle behind the call is right, but you can't alter the course of simple physics to accommodate player safety, especially when they deserve an Oscar.

i understand what you are saying but the NFL rules don't say "it's OK to hit someone directly in the head if they duck into it" rules are rules, no head shots.

I'm not saying it wasn't a lousy call for us, but there are people in here that think it was a legal hit and it wasn't. That's all I'm saying.

I thought the reffing at the end of the Cowboys game was far worse but people were telling me well that's no excuse. Same here penalty didn't let them score the TD by itself, defense needs to learn how to close games.

Meh... on the 2nd angle of that hit from TD, you see his shoulder hits the WR's shoulder... and slides up into his head as the WR is ducking... But, his shoulder hit his head... so, the flag was thrown.. LATE mind you. Which means there was some sorta of doubt. But when the WR didn't get up right away, it HAD to be illegal.

But, bottom line... TD could have poked him with his index finger in the helmet and there would have been a flag thrown, because it was the drive that was going to ruin the Panthers day... and nothing will stop that from happening this season.

I just threw my hands up after that and said "game over".
