Dear Mr. Accorsi...

Contrary to most peoples believes I don't think major changes need to be made. I'm sure some internal things need to be addressed, like the scouting department, Cap management, and player/coaching moves. While these are big decisions we are not as bad as say the browns or the Cowboys where there organization from top to bottom is a mess and would take years to change.

Offseason leadership training and other intangibles. Leadership, work ethic, teamwork, etc.

Laugh all you want, there is a reason fortune 500 companies invest heavily in these.

As a guy who has attended many of these and led more than a few, they are typically designed to teach people how to get along in a large organization. They are great for the bottom 60% of the organization, but often have the effect of neutering top performers. It just doesn't seem like a good fit when talking about football players.

One exception, and perhaps this is what you intended, would be team building excursions when the intent is just to let them build bonds by having fun together. Whether paintballing, white water rafting or some equivalent activity, these can be used effectively to bring an organization closer together.

Per the news stories, consultant Ernie Accorsi has the ability not just to aid in the GM search, but also to suggest changes in organizational structure and procedures.

So besides the obvious (i.e. "hands off") what sorts of things are you hoping he suggests?

From my understanding i'm hearing Phil Savage is interested in the GM job via Charlotte Observer. Do you know anything about this?

I know I wouldn't be a fan of that idea.

Moneyball

That is all.

I mean if we are gonna suck. At least drop some expenses so more people can go. I would prefer a class of fan go that will make it virtually unbearable for the other 50% of the attendees, aka fans of the opponent. Lets get a few hillbillies in there that don't ever buy anything but beer in the stadium and who get rowdy as hell as they watch the NFL's best practice squad try to play spoiler each and every week. The Monday headlines would be awesome.

Oh and for the record. I am not the one who made a mockery of this franchise. The FO, coaches, and players are responsible there. I'm just demonstrating just how far lost I truly believe we are all things being considered, and attempting to salvage a little entertainment from the situation.

I asked bill rosinski about this last night on twitter this is what he said:

@RosinskiBill: talked with Savage a few times and I asked if he was interested in Panthers. Seemed to think Acorsi had own list if go to guys.
