Mike Vick to Denver......????.............????.......

I am calling it now.

As much as I hate Mike Vick, he is just what the Broncos ordered.

With the departure of "Die-A-Beat-ees" (sorry this is football- no hard feelings)

the Broncos need something to excite the fans....

And with "ORTON-Hears A Who" as QB, WTH would they not make a push.

I see this as a big possibility and right now the best fit.

:(

:D

SO WHAT do YOU think of that possibility?

I think It makes a lot of sense.

(I dont know what their salary cap is like, but if you want to fill the stands and sell jerseys with a new head coach and a let down from letting a franchise QB go, well that is one way to make it happen)

My guess is Vick will end up in Seattle because A) Mora is the HC and B) they have a 37 year old starting QB with no heir-apparent to take over.

NOPE--

Matt Hasselbeck | #8 | QB

Height: 6-4 Weight: 225 Age: 33

He is their "Jake Delhomme" for the next few years, :D

I thought about this scenario too, given their history, I thought it would be a no-brainer. Until I saw one of those montages Sportscenter did on Vick when he was released from prison. In it, Mora was asked about Vick, and it became very clear that he wasn't interested. I looked all over for the video but can't find it, but I did find the quotes from the interview, and his feelings are obvious. I think he was forced to play Vick in ATL from his words and demeanor in the interview. Here's the quotes:

Don't see him in Seattle. They still run a WCO and Vick couldn't learn it in 5 years. Plus Mora suffered with him but never wanted him.

Denver wouldn't pick him because he isn't a quarterback. He is a running back who can throw the ball on occasion. Orton is better than Vick.

    • You’re playing madden we’re talking real football stuff…. He does have you seen his special on internet he def thinks he’s getting paid
    • Without the team having an identity kinda hard to predict what they value.  They either are really trying to build a balanced team, or preparing for another swing at qb if Bryce doesn’t pan out. Seems like we value the o line but the $ spent there has been underwhelming besides Lewis, you could say it’s because of injuries but still hasn’t been worth the investment. as already stated, the whole handling of Bryce young as a whole has been ass backwards, we spent the years we’re supposed to take advantage of having a qb with a lower cap hit, building the team up to be adequate. now It appears, key word appears, the saints have done it correctly, which is painful to even think about. Regardless, I hope the front office has paid attention to qb contracts recently, such as Tua, Kyler, Daniel jones(pre colts) and don’t settle for subpar qb play at franchise qb rates
    • This is the flaw in your logic.  Cutting 3 of our best players will somehow move us from whatever we are to "compete". Even the most Young super fans are not predicting a ceiling above top 10-12, and that will not nearly cut it.  Someone will need to break the log jam of QBs getting nothing or North of 50. Our qb is at best a middle ground, lets hope it will be us that also manage to pay the worth at about 100 over 3 years.  And before you jump me, yes that is only of he improves.
