Who would you choose for the next 5 years? Russel Wilson, Cam Newton, Andrew Luck, or Ed from Good Burger Aka Bob Griffin

Knowing what you guys know now. Who would you choose if you could? I'm just curious what you guys pick and reasons would be. I know I'll probably get reamed for this. But oh well. In before gif approved and all that stuff. My pick? Cam still. I'm a homer but I think with the right coaching and scheme he can excel more than Luck. I think Bob will get hurt in the NFL eventually. He's too damn small.

This will surely get a non-partisan answer from most people here....

I really wanted Luck to come out two years ago and I definitely favored him over Cam. But Cam is our QB and I will support him until he does something really stupid. His mobility and strength is what I find very unique about him.

Hopefully he can step up his accuracy. If he does that, skies the limit. That dude Bob Griffin takes a pounding. He won't last.

I would chose Cam Newton! Granted, Luck and RG III both look good and have played well. But there is more to the comparison in my opinion. In my opinion: both the Colts, especially the Colts, and Redskins have established foundations. By foundations, I mean upper management above the HC. Thats where the house is built from, you start at the top and build down to the players. We need the right General Manager. That decision and that decision alone will make or break our team.

I'd still take Cam, though I wouldn't be disappointed with any of them. To me Cam has the most upside out of any of them... He has all the physical tools you could hope to ask for, and he can make some beautiful throws when given the chance. Most of his problems this season have come from the offensive scheme we've been running and he's still shown glimpses of excellence. As far as his actual problems go, they're all very fixable simple mechanic issues like footwork... and those damn short passes sometimes. Once he gets that short-medium range accuracy down he's going to be fuging deadly.

It looks like a bright future in the NFL for quarterbacks though regardless. Should be a fun next decade and a half to watch.

    • You don't have to go through every game and point it out as we are discussing his GWDs. You specifically called out that he had GWDs because he is the reason the team is always playing from behind. We looked at those eight games and only Miami stands out as one where he put the team in a hole to begin with. You've added the Atlanta game where the team didn't score a TD but only kicked field goals. You're not trying to change what we're discussing to fit your feelings re: Bryce. That's not necessary. We are discussing GWDs per the thread topic. We have also shown that your opinion that the team has had to always come back due to Bryce was proven to be false as was the claim that "minus one game" was his fault. Appealing to emotion afterwards by trying to broadly paint the rest of the losses in the same way just doesn't work. Where in the Hell did you get that the entire point is the suggestion that BY is more clutch than Jake and/or Cam? It's giving something to be positive about in that Bryce has shown the ability to comeback and win games despite the calamity that might have taken place to put them behind to begin with. How is that blasphemy?
    • His run blocking is making up for his negatives in pass blocking right now.  He’ll still have pass blocking hiccups, but if they think he’s a critical part to the locker room and team construction, you probably re-sign him and try not to overpay.
    • Callahan is gone McDaniel and Taylor are happening Stefanski is a growing possibility. I mean, they need to get an offense going eventually.  Could see Morris as a surprise one.
