If our Players have not given up on the Coaching Staff... should we?

Some of you guys need to reflect on who our last 2 OCs were.

Dan Henning

And

Jeff Davidson

Chud is the best OC the Panthers have ever had. I can see Chud improving, and he is not afraid to think outside the box, and draw plays in the sand. All qualities that we wish we had when Davidson and Henning were running the show. I'd love to keep Chud another year, allow Cam and this offense to grow, before sending him off to an inevitable head coaching job somewhere in the league. Chud is a highly coveted offensive mind around the league, moreso than many of you are willing to realize.

Im not dissing anyone, but didn't half of this forum agree that Chud is the anti-christ?

The issue with the coaching staff is that they though they had it all planned. They just KNEW that them losing was just a lack of execution, or players "not making plays". While certainly there were plays left on the field by the players, the OVERWHELMING reason that we sucked so hard was poor coaching. This ranged from poor clock management to play calling and overall scheme ineptitude.

It took until we were virtually eliminated from playoff contention before they went "You know what guys! This poo just isn't working" and decided to pull their collective heads from their asses.

That alone should get them fired.

But then again, maybe they learn from this and grow as coaches - the realize that coaching can not be inflexible, and have to continuously adjust. It's for this reason that I won't be devastated if they are retained. It's just that I don't think that they should be.

Yeah, I keep thinking that if it took Marvin Lewis ten years to win in Cinci it could be eons before this staff gets it together. The offense we ran today was the offense we ran most of last year and Cam excelled. They just wasted this season and for that I bid them good riddance.

Gotta be more specific. We talking 3 months ago, last week, or this week?

I'm not sure of exact dates, but I can remember A LOT of people saying chud was done and chud was a retard. Yes, he has improved our offense, but I'm all for letting the man go. I'm sure he can be utilized elsewhere.

    • I could be waaaaaaay off about Kon. I do fault myself into, to borrow a NFL phrase heavily "RAS" nerd on players, too much. There are PLENTY of athletic freak shows that are playing overseas(or Amazon delivery) cause they never figured out NBA ball. I can easily miss seeing the talent. Plus did he only have 2 dunks on the season??(is that for real??) I didn't watch over a few hours of duke, but not one point did I think "That Kon guy is a top 4 pick in the upcoming draft". IMO I still foresee Ball bringing the ball up, doing his weak isolation game and never even looking for Kon. That's his best trait according to everyone, shooting right? I do not see ball, bridges, miller or even williams making the extra pass to Kon for him to shoot a 3.  Then defense-wise, Im not ready to type the amount of questions I foresee in his ability for guarding NBA SGs or bench SFs for that matter. Not that NBA players care to defend, but still..... I just feel he's a bad fit for the current hornets, trades are taking place tho... Liam to me is a decent comp for Kon and he fell some, but was a 29 overall pick. Still around 13-21 was the good solid range for Liam and I thought the same for Kon. This is just a classic case of I need to see it. It add to this, Kon is like garlic. Ball is like sugar and Miller is like flour. Mix it together and chef Lee is not going to get me to eat that dish..... Honestly I don't know why Im this vocal about Kon. In past years I would be patience and not post and see what the kid has. The other side, insert classic white boy terms here- _____, ______, _______< etc >. Hornets do desperately need them. His crafty back door cuts, his willingness to stay a extra 2 hours to refine lees plays, keep playing with bruised limbs. I heard from many reports he's mentally tough and hornets by all gods need that. God they are such pussys.  I hope Im wrong and if so, I will give Kon his just props.
