Ravens fire Cameron

I would love for us to pick him up. I thought and still think he is one of the best OC in the league. According to the article, it seems like he was made the scapegoat for Flacco's problems. Although I hadn't seen many problems with Flacco this season and certainly not enough problems with their offense this season to warrant firing Cameron. The defense is what the Ravens biggest problem is.

Cam Cameron has sucked this season. They tried to open up the offense this year. A lot of buzz preseason about a no huddle offense and it fizzled out within a few weeks of the season. One of his biggest problems this year was his tendency to abandon the running game early and put Flacco in bad positions at key moments in the game. They probably just got tired of his inability to execute the the game plan, and his tendency to forget their best offensive player Ray Rice.

With all that said, no way I have any interest in him at all. Would rather keep Chud.

CC was the OC during Chuds first San Diego stint. If you wanna know where Chud got his whole read option obsession look no further. Both of them tend to obsess too much over shiny objects (Chud: read option, CC: overemphasizing the pass in BAL and to a lesser extent his trick play fascination in SD) at the cost of the teams basic strengths.

    • I think in all honestly, the final 2 games are carrying most of the weight in a lot of Bryce talk IMO.    During the window where he "blew it out of the water" window......were a lot of games where he was not above average.  AZ is largely one of those stat sheet games.   Where the stat sheet reflects QB play that didn't exist in the game.  That game was all Chuba.  Meh vs Dallas.  Meh vs Philly.  Meh vs Giants.  Probably average vs Tampa, Den, Saints.  Bryce made HUGE strides vs what he was.  We should be happy.   But when you start comparing him to the rest of the league.....people I think are going too far.  His best aspect in reality.....is his scrambling.  And that's probably not a great thing give his size.
    • Mays and Zavala looked lost in the Reich offense.  Granted Zalava was probably playing too soon due to injuries but he looked terrible.  This new staff seems to be doing well with our OL.  I also wonder if having two vets in Hunt and Lewis just made life that much easier on whoever was/is playing center.
    • What the Panthers should target in order (via free agency or via trade): 1. Julian Blackmon  2. Mike Hilton 3. Jaire Alexander 4. Jalen Ramsey
