Need help from realists.

Ok I've been doing my weekly football pool at work for the past 3 years and no matter what have always picked the Panthers every week. However I've been on fire this season and have won 3 weeks out of the past 14. Now I find myself in first place by ONE POINT with 3 weeks left. If I maintain first place I win $1200. So I'm torn on this week. I just feel like the Chargers have our number. Please everyone for a second take the homer glasses off and give me a realistic prediction for tomorrow's game.

Yeah, because that's relevant.

When someone says "they have our number" it is usually in regards to a recent ability to beat us. It usually refers to the history of the match-up. If you were attempting to convey something else I apologize.

:)

I guess you were saying "the Chargers have our number" on paper? theoretically in your head? When you run simulations on Madden? I have no clue what your point was

Rivera, Chud, Turner all from San Diego. Rivera has lost both games to the Bears. I just feel like he gets rattled when going up against teams he has history with. Also we will be without key starters again.

Probably the biggest 'realist' here. Personally, I think we will win this one but it will be close. But I lost $500 on the first Falcon game so not sure what that says. Could have had a couple thousand :(.

Your in first place betting for the Panthers? I need to get in on this pool...

All three weeks I won were Panther victories. Every week you pick who you think will win each game and then you add up the totals week by week.

I wasted my entire years betting allowance week one when we lost to the Bucs. Who would have thought right?

I'm one of the biggest cynics on this board and I think the Panthers can win this game. Two teams both likely losing their head coaches, but going in different directions.

Panthers have a lot more younger, marginal players who are trying to add to their resumes for the next GM. Time to get some time on film.

    • I could be waaaaaaay off about Kon. I do fault myself into, to borrow a NFL phrase heavily "RAS" nerd on players, too much. There are PLENTY of athletic freak shows that are playing overseas(or Amazon delivery) cause they never figured out NBA ball. I can easily miss seeing the talent. Plus did he only have 2 dunks on the season??(is that for real??) I didn't watch over a few hours of duke, but not one point did I think "That Kon guy is a top 4 pick in the upcoming draft". IMO I still foresee Ball bringing the ball up, doing his weak isolation game and never even looking for Kon. That's his best trait according to everyone, shooting right? I do not see ball, bridges, miller or even williams making the extra pass to Kon for him to shoot a 3.  Then defense-wise, Im not ready to type the amount of questions I foresee in his ability for guarding NBA SGs or bench SFs for that matter. Not that NBA players care to defend, but still..... I just feel he's a bad fit for the current hornets, trades are taking place tho... Liam to me is a decent comp for Kon and he fell some, but was a 29 overall pick. Still around 13-21 was the good solid range for Liam and I thought the same for Kon. This is just a classic case of I need to see it. It add to this, Kon is like garlic. Ball is like sugar and Miller is like flour. Mix it together and chef Lee is not going to get me to eat that dish..... Honestly I don't know why Im this vocal about Kon. In past years I would be patience and not post and see what the kid has. The other side, insert classic white boy terms here- _____, ______, _______< etc >. Hornets do desperately need them. His crafty back door cuts, his willingness to stay a extra 2 hours to refine lees plays, keep playing with bruised limbs. I heard from many reports he's mentally tough and hornets by all gods need that. God they are such pussys.  I hope Im wrong and if so, I will give Kon his just props.
