Nice read and I found this quote interesting/funny.

For other reasons — an unceremonious split in 1997 foremost among them — you can rule out current ESPN analyst and former Indianapolis Colts executive Bill Polian, who also lives in the local area. When he spoke to the Charlotte Business Journal several weeks ago, Polian said he knew nothing about the Carolina search, and he displayed little enthusiasm for discussing the franchise in any regard.

Only part I didn't agree with was when it listed "the uncertainty" of newton's development as a detractor from coming here, but over all it's a good article.
