What has Rivera really proven?

If Carolina changes coaches next year they aren't reaching the playoffs

what makes you or anyone think we'll make it to the playoffs with him next year?

not buying the whole "changing coaches" is going to set the team back. coaches that can win find a way to pull it off, esp. when it matters most.

coaches that lose find a way to do it...at least until all thats left to play for is some semblance of pride.

i think its great that they've won the last 4 games. i think its great that the players like him so much. i think he's a great defensive coach.

i don't have any confidence in his ability to manage a whole team and get them firing on all cylinders at the same time, esp. consistently.

i really have no confidence in his ability to manage a whole game. i have no confidence in his ability to close out a game.

i expect two things to happen in every game....we get the lead. then we lose the game. this has been the rule with few exceptions.

i see the new GM hearing arguments from players as to why rivera should stay. with each one i would ask the same simple question, "did he make you winners?" i know they and other supporters would say that we can win with him, but then that would be followed up with 1) where's the evidence and 2) why haven't you?

i'm not a fan of the idea that a coaching change may be coming. i just think it may be necessary to get someone that it won't take at least 3 years to figure out how to be a head coach. he may get it next year, but based on what i've seen so far, I'm not expecting it. not anymore. not from rivera.
