Low blow BWood. Low blow.

Just because I don't currently play music doesn't mean I can't appreciate it or recognize unique ability. I've watched and listened to pretty much all of these guys and the only ones that stand out to me from the rest, whether it be style or actual technique is ?uestlove and maybe Stewart Copeland (who is also underrated on this list IMO).

Tell me again, how many record sales do you have?

I fugging love quest love but you're going to make me have to argue against him. He simply does not belog in the same sentence as most of these guys.

You are obviously more of a hip hop guy, that's why you dig quest over some of these hall of famers.

Not trying to make fun of you, that statement was just pretty ridiculous.

Oh and when I figure out how to balance my new job with recording times, I will make sure to send you a copy.

Just had to give you a jab in return.

But for some reason, I've always been really passionate about music, even though I can't play an instrument, lol. Hopefully that changes in the years to come.

But, regardless, I stand by my statement. I have also always prided myself on being diverse in my interests and music. Yes, I'm a hip-hop/rap guy, or at least was throughout most of my life, but my music collection has grown more and more balanced over the years due to the crap that the industry is currently pumping out. I also consider myself an artist in many respects (film, writing, illustrating, etc.), so I appreciate how others express their creativity or style in other mediums. ?uestlove always has stood out to me aside from his group performances.

I'm no expert on Tool or their music, but I know who they are and I'm familiar with them. That being said, I was never impressed with them. Not to insult your opinion or musical taste, we all have our own... I just never cared for them.

Either way, I think the list is a result of group popularity moreso than actual ranking of their abilities so your favorite is likely underrated on that list as well as many others. Again, JMO.

This guy is pretty dam good too... Played with Steely Dan, Michael Jackson, Stevie Wonder, Whitney Houston, Bette Middler, Baby Face. Just to name a few.

And he's not even on that list. lol

Ricky Lawson

As noted already, those numbers I think are more the recognition than the measure of talent. Not that they aren't all talented.
