Game 24: Pistons vs. Bobcats

See...this is why the Bobcats only sell as many tickets as a J.V. High Basketball team. Maybe the efforts there...but the W's just never are and never have been. I like this team and I really want them to succeed but I don't know what they need to do to get them on the right track...

It seems like we need about 4 or 5 more years....b/ they just can't afford that kind of time.

Me and Pantherzfan1 went to this game. It was rough at first, people left after 3rd quarter. We came back big, but Detroit had their starters on the bench by then though. Crowd got into it late when the come back started coming. Wallace got us points and then we took him out? Didn't understand that. Frenchie came in and did decent in defense.

It's sad, there were as many Detroit fans as Bobcats fans there, that has to change.

We need to come out and take leads instead of chasing them, it hurts us big time.

Some bad ref calls too, Iverson gets so many fouls called against him, it's sad.

    • I guess 89’s coaching did not help Mingo. The Panthers have been horrible drafting WR’s.
    • Also can we not use the word program anymore? We're getting clowned by kickers now FFS.
    • I am honestly tired of typing out thoughts similar to what I'm about to say, but I still think it holds water.  This roster stinks. It would take extreme dysfunction for me to have any ill feelings towards Canales right now. I think Canales has done everything he is capable of doing. He doesn't waste timeouts, his challenges have been solid, he calls a good game, and we are never in positions where play calling is creating delay of game like Mike Shula used to do. He made a tough decision to play Andy, which clearly shows everybody he sees what needs to happen, and isn't afraid to tell Tepper what he thinks. I do think our guys are playing hard, they just aren't capable.  The only thing he's done that I didn't like is give the starters the preseason off.  Defense has had so many injuries there's nothing Evero can do. He's proven under multiple head coaches that he's a good coordinator.  We deserve a lot of criticism, but this is the NFL. You have to have the players and coaches. We absolutely don't have the players. That means we really can't say anything definitive about the coaches.  Final thought: If we were to fire Canales, even at the end of the season, the "David Tepper is a crazy person you don't want to work for" chatter would get even louder. I don't see it happening this year, or even next.
