I wouldn't be surprised at all if Gruden AND Cowher are laying in wait for a shot at the Panthers job.

I just view Gruden the same way as I view Billick:

an above-average coach that won a superbowl under unique circumstances, had multiple unimpressive seasons afterwards, and had his latter day sins forgiven by the media pundits he now works with.
