Sooo..you are telling me nobody wanted Jim Caldwell?

Awesomeness!!

He had the shittiest Oline last year that I have ever seen because of injuries to 4 out 5 starting olineman. Both tackles, center and a gaurd. Andy Reid is a phenomenal coach.

The o-line was injured last year, but what about the year before? They had one of the best o-lines, but didn't do anything. I think that they led in sacks, but no playoffs. Reid fired Castillo, but he was a genius compared to Bowles. In the beginning of the year his defense wasn't the problem, but his offense due to the o-line and at the end, both were abysmal.

If David Shaw left Stanford, I'm sure he would have gotten a job. In fact, if that happened and I was Jerry, I would have let Rivera go and went hard after Shaw. With all that said, I'm tired of hearing about this issue. The Rooney Rule requires that one minority HC prospect must be interviewed, but usually we always take it to mean a black man. Then when no minority HC prospects get hired, what we really mean is no black HC was hired. Why is it the black ethnicity is always at the forefront of these things? I don't hear no one arguing for asian HCs or hispanic HC prospects. I'm just tired of hearing that black people are always held back in this regard. I also hate using the terms majority and minority.

Not to be a hard ass (since later I heard you say, "there's only one race", and your pet peeve on "black candidates"), but since you brought it up:

"Hispanic or Latino" is not a race. It's a culture, ethnicity or Geography. I know some people don't want to hear that. But it's not. You have black Latino's, White/European Latinos, Native American's, or a mixture of any of the above. And some countries (like Peru and Ecuador), even have some Asian influences, along with the others.

It all depends on what country they're from, and what strata they occupy. They're 'Black Latino's for example. And they are identified as such in their own countries when they take a census. Mexico, is mainly native American, with a small but sizable European based wealthy class and political elite.

I get your point though. :D Nonetheless, the majority of players and Front Office Personnel in the NFL are composed of black and whites, and that's why you'll hear people question or complain, when no qualified black candidates are hired for certain FO positions. It's a numbers vs rejection game.

Let's see...He was the colts HC. He had Peyton, he was successful. Peyton injured....the whole team turns to poo. Caldwell leaves...new management comes in and they draft #1 and end 11-5. Caldwell is an awful HC dude.

Many believe, me included, that the last 3 games of Jim Caldwell's HC at Indy were actually coached by Peyton Manning. (2-1 as a HC?)

Manning had the headset on and could be seen talking into it when the Offense was on the team. Along with always being involved during the Offensive Time outs.

Or i need to add a bunch of people to my ignore list

good idea.

my ignore list was turning into more of a list of banned posters. it needs some more life brought in.

btw...this is reason #253 why i wouldn't want to be a mod. you can't put users on ignore.

Its just funny how people say "heyyy there isn no racist, stop whining" and then turn around and say "Its not my fault (insert group here) are too dumb to perform (insert task here) when all of the evidence is to the contrary.

Well, racists aren't really known for their intelligence to begin with.
