Brown shifts to the right side

I wouldn't jump to any conclusions here, but it will be interesting if Peppers is asked to go back to LE when he returns considering that he asked to move to RE last year and had a career-high in sacks...

Personally, I like the idea of shifting DE's from one end to the other - anything to keep the opposing offensive on it's heels.

You don't trade a 1st round pick for a guy you plan to use as a backup.

Right the smart thing to do is push him into the starting lineup even if he isn't ready to be a starter this season. The trauma of being tossed into a starting position, and then falling far short of the expectations that are weighing down on him couldn't possibly hinder his entire career or anything, like it has for other players now considered to be busts. I'm glad we have you here to show us the light CatMan72.

nah, more like it's OTAs and no one cares about the depth chart, not even the coaches.

cj wilson is starting at cb for gods sake.

lol mini camps didn't matter, now OTAs don't matter, I'm sure training camp won't matter either. I still don't believe Brown is ready to start this season, but that wasn't necessarily the point of my post.

The point is that the argument that Brown should absolutely, no two-ways about it be a starter this season because of what we gave up to get him is a house of retardation built upon a foundation of dumbassery.

It's thoughts like that, that will prevent you from every being a coach in the NFL, and being taken seriously on here.

I'm sure you aren't planning on being a coach, but damn dude ~ do think before you rip out statements like this?

We gave up what we did to get an impact player, and instant pass rush.

Whether he starts or not, doesn't matter ~ regardless of what we gave to get him. He's going to have a roll. His roll is going to help give us more of a pass rush. I wouldn't want him starting unless he was also good at run defending. The coaches are definitely going to be using him in a rotation. So I can already see, that through your eyes, the front office failed cause you think they gave up to much.

Another reason why this comment is stupid, is it's still OTA's. The depth chart isn't even being thought about right now. It's not even going to be addressed until training camp. And even then, he may not start.

But I'm sure you'll still be here talking outta your ass.

    • I would write “give remmers tight end help” on a yellow sticky note and stuck it in shulas playbook the night before superbowl 50.
    • And don’t worry about Bryce he will be great… Peyton Manning had a horrible rookie year too 😂
    • Nothing wrong with it at all until you start telling others they are bad fans or not fans. But you are the good fan because you never say negative stuff about the team.    I did many years of that type of uninformed fanning because there really was no info and coverage like there is with the internet.    I mean, I used to go to the store and get Street and Smith’s annual football issue. That was about the extent of what you could get if you didn’t live in a big city with sportswriters covering and reporting.  There was no video to look at or replay the games and if you didn’t live in the market you could only rarely see your football team play.    TI have fanned since being a kid in the early 1960s, and as late as 1995 - ‘97 I lived in Atlanta and good luck getting more than 3 or 4 games a year on TV. No radio either. No print coverage outside of an AP recap and box unless they played Atlanta.  People today that have always had the network connection don’t know.    I wasn’t very educated about the Panthers until I finally got internet.
