Pretty decent fight. Love watching ellenberger. Did not agree with the condit Hendricks decision but was a great fight

Yeah I think the Condit/Hendricks fight was my favorite of the night.

I was hoping GSP would knock out Diaz but he pretty much dominated from start to finish.

I haaaate the Diaz brothers SO much. But I also can't stand GSP's style. So ... didn't order the ppv and didn't watch it for free online. It's rare I do that.

Giant Sleeping Pill is the most boring champ in the UFC. I have no idea how people think he would stand a chance against Silva. I understand that he is dominant at what he does (which is repeatedly changing levels and taking guys down, which makes strikers uncomfortable because they can't open up without fear of getting taken down) but his style is damn boring. He would get wrecked by Silva and it wouldn't even be close. I'm kind of pissed I got the PPV. I don't think I'll buy another GSP ppv again unless he fights Silva. I don't think Hendricks has the cardio to go 5 rounds with GSP; Condit would have beaten him if they had fought 5 rounds.

Yeah Sonnen did because Silva fought with a broken rib. The second fight, Sonnen got his face raped. To be honest, GSP gives up too much size and strength to Silva to make the fight competitive, but it would please the reptilian side of my brain to see GSP get thrashed. I hate that lay and pray bullshit. If GSP had vicious ground and pound it would be different, but because UFC rules favor wrestlers he thrives and commentators constantly slurp him. UFC rules don't give strikers a way to punish wrestlers who shoot in and then end up on their knees after a failed take down attempt. If they let guys knee to the head or soccer kick a downed opponent, wrestlers would have to adapt but people would bitch about it being too brutal.

It's sad because GSP is a freak athlete; when he first joined the UFC his style was much more 'viewer friendly'. After Serra ko'd him, he resorted to that lay and pray bullshit. An athlete of his caliber could easily have gone in a different direction and thrived.

Damn I wish these fights started earlier. I started fading at the beginning of the ppv. I saw the first 4 minutes of Kendricks/Condit ( and I knew it would be an awesome fight) and fell asleep. Pissed that I missed it. Saw all of the main event.

I thought Condit/Hendricks could have went either way but gave a slight edge to Johnny. I knew exactly how the mainevent was going to play out and it still pissed me off. I was actually hoping that GSP would get aggressive this fight since he supposedly hated Nick, but apparently GSP's way of beating the poo out of someone he hates is him humping them and hitting them with pillow fists. I blame it sucking just as much on Diaz too though since for whatever reason he refused to get aggressive when they were on their feet. I really think he could have beat GSP after he started stuffing takedowns and escaping on the ground if he would have been more aggressive with striking.

and for the record, I'm not a hater of wrestling. I love Matt Hughes, Brock Lesnar, and Chael Sonnen. I just hate Georges' style of laying on the guy and not even trying to finish.
