UPDATE: The Cleveland Plain Dealer reports the Browns are not interested in signing Winslow and have not reached out to the tight end about a potential reunion. According to the Plain Dealer's Mary Kay Cabot, the Browns plan to go with Jordan Cameron as the starter, with Davis as the No. 2 tight end.

You know, people talk about bad players surrounding cam, people forget Steve Smith has gotten into 3 fights with team mates and he is one of the best damn players to ever walk on the field for any team ever.

lol, really? damn. ok....only cause im bored.

what people have forgotten that? why bring that up? this is how im hearing what youre saying, "steve smith got into some fights with team mates and he's the best damn player ever....kellen winslow has a shitty attitude, we should sign him"...."are you having a bad day hater?"......wtf??? steve smith has always been a panther, and he has resolved every issue in house without the team feeling the need to get rid of him, unlike winslow, who has had 2 fuggin franchises get rid of him on bad terms. why dont we just ignore all the red flags and his BS from his entire career because he can be our second string recieving TE, then WE can be that lucky third team to send him packing after his "me" attitude pisses off all his coaches and team mates on a young team trying to rebuild :) , awesome!!

Calm down, I'm not even going to argue about this. My only point is some players with character issues can still be good team mates and teach young players. I didn't say Winslow was one of them.

Scratch that.

Kellen was on Sports Nation a few minutes ago and he said he wants to stay in Cali. So Oakland is probably the frontrunner to land him.

He said san diego on the show..but after watching the show i definitely dont want him now [i didnt want him before anyways], the dude seems like a complete dumbass. Braindead already.

Lol forreal wonder what he thinks about mike vick and ray lewis

again....WTF??? kellen winslow has been bannished by more franchises than those two put together, plus vick and lewis are phenomenal team leaders......what?? gonna have to connect the dots, im not sure what youre on about, or if it makes sense in this context. are you insulting me saying i dont like hall of famers?? are you implying that winslow is the same caliber of player as ray and mike?? is it a black/white thing?? good post?

    • lol, that second part is quite literally one of the dumbest things ever. Having or not having guaranteed contracts has absolutely nothing to do with how much these billionaires have to pay.  Because there is a hard cap and a minimum cap spend requirement, and teams either use their cap or roll it over to use it all the next year, so the owners have to pay the same amount of money in the end no matter what. Having fully guaranteed contracts in the NFL would only hurt salary cap management, and thus would end up screwing over the team and its fan base when teams kiss on signings as they take up cap room that is needed to improve the roster. Look at the Browns with Watson, they gave him the fully guaranteed deal and all it’s doing is sucking up massive cap space now.  If they hadn’t done that, the owner would still be paying the same amount of money each year as that cap space would still be used elsewhere. If you want to argue for fully guaranteed contracts because the players deserve it, that’s an entirely different argument and a fair one to discuss.  But anyone against fully guaranteed deals isn’t doing it to argue for the billionaire owners.

    • Ryabkin could be the steal of the draft, he was a Top 10 pick heading into last season and had a rough year.  Lots of GMs passed on him because of that and his workouts. Pick has really high upside and Svech should be able to translate Rod tearing his arse a new one for making dumb plays since Svech has had several years of it.  🤣😂
