For those who don't know he's the director of NFL Films. He has more access and experience in breaking down film than most of the talking heads out there.

Pretty much says Tavon Austin is the best WR in this class compares to Percy Harvin says Austin should be top 10 pick

We gotta get this dude

And Justin Hunter looks like a better WR then Patterson.

The team that Drafts Patterson better have a WR coach who can stay on him all the time because he is such a bad route runner.

I still think you should watch because recaps are hard with this guy. He almost intentionally tries to remain ambivalent so none of these guys can make him look like a jackass the way Cam did all his haters. Also won't heap too much praise because he doesn't want to be that guy(s) who claimed Gabbert was the best QB in 11.

Thinks fan's are crazy by belittling the WR group in terms of lacking for first round talent.

Justin Hunter- has incredible build and fluid movement and but way too many drops. adds that his tape is far better than CP's

Cordarelle Patterson- Far better with ball in his hands than without.Basically amazing once he has the ball, very raw in terms of doing what it takes to get to the ball....needs a good wr coach to get him up to speed.

Keenan Allen- reminds him of reggie wayne, smooth accelerator but not a natural burner.good at yards after catch.

Deandre Hopkins-big physical, good hands, reminds him of Boldin runs better than Boldin(speed wise). There's a place for him but does not want to desginate him as # 1 or 2.

Tavon Austin- More than a receiver..moveable chess piece like Harvin. Most dynamic play maker should go top 10.

Steadman Bailey- Probably a good slot guy.

Robert Woods- Very good at run after catch, similarities to Blackmon but not as strong.

Quinton Patton- Reminds him of some old guy named Mike Quick from back in the day. Seperates when ball in air. only lined up on right side so limited routes but ran them good.

Aaron Melette- Likes him more than Patton..Did very well against Casey Hayward in 2011.

DT

Floyd is best player in draft. Will be a 3-tech who can rack up tackles for loss.

Sheldon Richardon is similar and right behind him.

Star- He's not the same player as Ngata...damn drawing a blank on what else he said about him.

Kwann Short- Looks like an all pro or said something similar anyway on his best 25 plays, looks like an undrafted free agent on his worst 25 plays.

Jonathan Jenkins- Has amazing feet(movement) for a fat bastard and can make plays as a Nose tackle.. How many tho is the question, can he give you more than 20-25 plays at his size?Even with that question he's the best 2 down nose tackle in draft.

Jonathan Hankins- Great measurables, takes on double teams, inconsistent.

Slyvester WIlliams- can't remember..maybe somebody else can.

His knock on Sylvester Williams was that sometimes he doesn't finish plays. Great initial burst, but sometimes he didn't finish. Cossell still said him going in the 20-25 range wouldn't surprise him.

You know, he never actually says that he's the best WR in the class. He did say it would not surprise him if he goes top ten.

I'm convinced that the WR we should take are Allen, Hopkins, Hunter. Any of them would be great. I'm more inclined for Hunter or Allen. Cossell said Hunter reminds him of AJ Green with his movement and ball skills. I'm glad he said this because I thought the same. He also said Hunter had better tape than Patterson. He's too raw. Which is another thing I thought as well.

Said the same thing months ago.

    • And once again I showed you it’s been pretty even. We spent 2nd and 3rd rounders this past draft on edge rushers. No one’s going to sit here and do the math on a draft value chart etc. the only reason I even entertained this was because you said we’ve spent nothing on defense when that simply isn’t true. It also didn’t help we traded our ONLY WR worth a damn to trade up for Bryce soo… And this is kind of the issue with the anti Bryce crowd. This crowd tends to blame him for the trade up. I was team Stroud. Had the panthers not taken Young the only other QB they were going to take was Richardson. So your issue should be with Tepper, Morgan, Fitterer not Bryce.  Bryce is who he is and it was pretty obvious who he was during the draft process. Bryce is slowly developing into that guy most thought he’d be. Give him a WR like Jamo and this offense as a whole would improve greatly.  Anyone thinking he was the next Pat Mahomes or Josh Allen is clearly slow. Bryce was always going to need pieces around him much like EVERY other QB Burrow has Chase and Higgins and they’ve done nothing. After losing in AFC Championship in 2022, Burrow is 17-15. QB’s need a team around them It’s why a Jalen Hurts led Eagles team dismantled a Pat Mahomes led KC team in the SB Imo the QB’s doing the most with the least up until this year have been Josh Allen and Lamar Jackson  This year it’s Drake Maye and Josh Allen  Outside of the 3-5 elite type QB’s I’m not really sure what people expect here. Is Bryce ever going to be in that elite category? Nope. Should we punt on Bryce and keep swinging? I don’t think so. Should we keep swinging while hanging onto Bryce? Yeah but I don’t know what that looks like This team as a whole isn’t very good. Offense and defense and that’s the simple truth
    • I didn't move the goal posts. But anyone who follows football who wants to engage in a rational discussion can't argue that 10 7th round picks are equal to 10 1st rounders in value. The argument has always been we haven't spent as much on defense has we have on offense. Draft picks have value just like salary. We have not spent the same amount of draft pick salary cap on defense that we have on offense since drafting Bryce. It's not even close. Just the 2 1sts we used on Bryce, 2 overall 1sts have a value of 6000. That doesn’t even factor in DJ Moore or the 2 2nds. Bryce cost more than everything we've spent on defense in 6 damn years.
    • We need to hope this scenario plays our next week he fails with pressure…what that means with Evero, is beyond me
