Anyone have this?

I'm thinking about getting it, and possibly going in with 3 other people if I can find them, since you get 4 logins. Essentially like $33 a person or something.

I tried last year but blackouts were annoying so this year I'm going to buy a proxy address for $4 a month so they think I'm somewhere like Europe, etc.

Just gauging how much people enjoy it? I think there is a mode where you can rewatch a game and only see at-bats, so games only take 30-40 minutes. Good after a long day of work I bet.

I really really love it. I can't get Braves games otherwise. The only thing that is lame is that I live in the Washington Nationals viewing area and yet somehow don't get any channels that carry them locally (how in the fug Brunswick County NC is Nationals home territory, I'll never know) and being a Braves fan it would piss me off when the Braves/Nationals games were blacked out - being as they are in the same division, it happened about 30 times a year or so. Otherwise, it was awesome.

Maybe you should look into buying a $4 a month proxy address to throw in your PC/PS3 etc, when they play each other? I'm a Cubs and Braves fan. Without a proxy I won't be able to watch the Braves. It's silly, in Charlotte the Reds/Nationals/Orioles/Braves are all blacked out. Besides the Braves, those other teams are like 10 hours away, stupid. Even the Braces, 3-3.5 hours away is silly to be blacked out. If you buy a service, there should be no blackouts. Last year, they lost $130 bucks from me. I was never going to be able to make any live game, so it's just a complete loss of money for them.

I usually just use a pirate site like vipbox for the few games a year that are blacked out.

I love it. I did not renew this year as money is tight at the moment. Lots of things going on but plan on getting back in around Memorial Day. I live nowhere near Boston so the only games that I really have to worry about blackouts are FOX Saturday games or if I want to watch the Rockies but firstrowsports is an easy option for those.

I do not understand why FOX wants the blackouts anyway. If I want to watch another FOX game they should be fine with that.

In regards to the blackouts. I am not sure if things changed or what but I live in Denver, my bro (whose account I am using) lives in Tampa and last night both the Rockies and Rays worked for me

I sent you a PM.... :)

Just bought MLB.tv premium for only $56 bucks for the rest of the year.  Heck of a deal for others on the fence.  Going to have a buddy and maybe others split it since this is something you can do.  I also found a solution for blackouts that re-routes DNS for services like mlb.tv, etc.  It's like 4 bucks a month or so and if it works I'll posts my findings.  Pretty stoked.

Jesus it's only 56 bucks right now? Maybe next year i will wait until may and save 100 bucks. Not that i really care but with the Angels being as bad and dysfunctional as they are right now, I'm basically done watching baseball for a bit.

But yeah, it's awesome to have and being able to watch on your phone is a pretty handy thing to have as well.

Looks like it's possibly dead now.... but I found it on slickdeals on this site:

http://slickdeals.net/f/6020884-MLB-TV-Premium-56-99-for-the-remainder-of-the-season-MLB-TV-possibly-dead?

Looks like they have a sale around father's day too I think. I'm getting around blackouts on my ps3, xbox, and PC by changing up some DNS settings from unblock-us.com (free week trial).

I think a buddy is going to go in half with me since you can have up to 5 concurrent connections at a time, and just share the password.

I probably watched 20 hours of baseball over the weekend lol my wife is not pleased as I made her watch some lol.

MLB.tv really is great if you are a baseball fan. You just have to watch because they will auto renew you next year for $124.99.

I moved to NYC for a year and got it to watch Phillies games. I got auto renewed (which is fine, I was going to get it anyway) and now I am back in the Philly area but still use it for other teams. Nothing like staying up to 1am listening to Vin Scully.

Also, the At Bat app for iPhone (and Android I guess) is excellent.

    • lol, that second part is quite literally one of the dumbest things ever. Having or not having guaranteed contracts has absolutely nothing to do with how much these billionaires have to pay.  Because there is a hard cap and a minimum cap spend requirement, and teams either use their cap or roll it over to use it all the next year, so the owners have to pay the same amount of money in the end no matter what. Having fully guaranteed contracts in the NFL would only hurt salary cap management, and thus would end up screwing over the team and its fan base when teams kiss on signings as they take up cap room that is needed to improve the roster. Look at the Browns with Watson, they gave him the fully guaranteed deal and all it’s doing is sucking up massive cap space now.  If they hadn’t done that, the owner would still be paying the same amount of money each year as that cap space would still be used elsewhere. If you want to argue for fully guaranteed contracts because the players deserve it, that’s an entirely different argument and a fair one to discuss.  But anyone against fully guaranteed deals isn’t doing it to argue for the billionaire owners.

    • Ryabkin could be the steal of the draft, he was a Top 10 pick heading into last season and had a rough year.  Lots of GMs passed on him because of that and his workouts. Pick has really high upside and Svech should be able to translate Rod tearing his arse a new one for making dumb plays since Svech has had several years of it.  🤣😂
