WR in the 1st or 2nd Round: More weapons for Cam!

Do we want to draft a receiver in the first or second that is going to be the fourth best receiver on the team this year and could be a one or two down the line, or do we go for a more surefire plug and play guy in the first and still pick up a developmental receiver down the line. Should be even more receivers available in free agency next year. If there isn't a Julio Jones in this draft, I don't think you pull the trigger at 14. The more I think about it, the more I want a defensive guy. A NT or corner. Probably ensures we pick neither then....

Carolina could draft a WR that is the 2nd best WR on the roster by the end of the season....

I mean...rookies year one have been better than LaFell, Ginn, Hixon, Edwards, Pilares, etc.

But I am leaning more toward S/CB right now....WR in the slim chance of a trade down

Sam_randallusa I have to admit I admire your thick skin in this thread and optimism.

To answer your question I hope we get DeAndre Hopkins in the second round but I wouldn't be happy with just that.

I would like to trade back in the first round due to the depth in this draft. If that is not an option I would like to solidify our offensive line or defensive line in free agency and would be satisfied by allowing our first round pick to address the other glaring need.

Lol Thanks Bro and I agree DeAndre Hopkins is a flat out playmaker and speedster! Trading back could be another possibility as you mentioned, no problem with that at all. Great Stuff.

Not sure Hopkins falling to the 44th pick will happen...
