Football Gameplan's 2013 NFL Mock Draft Video - April

Richardson is 24, gets mauled in the run game, and was rumored to have an attitude problem.

Floyd is 20, is very good against the run with upside in the pass-rush, and is a great kid.

This... is a no-brainer. Floyd>>>> Richardson.

Richardson is and has been more productive than Floyd.

And Floyd is nowhere near as good against the run as a lot of people are saying. At least based on everything I've seen (all the YouTube videos I've been able to find with him in them). Against the run they're equal, against the pass Richardson is way better and Richardson's motor blows Floyd's out of the water. And Richardson is more versatile. I'd take Richardson over Floyd too.

Floyd is younger and has more upside.

If going based off of production then Kawann Short would be in the mix to be taken top 10. He isnt.

I see the younger argument but the more upside is a little hard to determine.

They are about the same other then age.

Richardsons "production" is because he's getting pushed so far down the field and makes tackles on guys 10 yards past the LOS with his great speed. Can't hold the point at all, and richardsons pass rush is overrated. I see a better inside rush from Floyd

Yes that what happens.

Cyprien > Vaccaro

I saw a tweet from an NFL Network guy last week that said there are only three positions in this draft that have clear leaders that can't be disputed. TE, CB, and Safety. Just found that interesting that Vaccaro is getting that much love when we've all seen the missed tackles.

    • To be fair, I kind of like Bo but he was BAD this past weekend.
    • What I noticed was Tmac running free on deep routes a lot. Can we just get PJ or Hooker to throw go routes on every play for the rest of the season? It would be more exiting than this current mess.
    • We're all aware of the frustrating Week 1 for Carolina, but there's reasons to see Arizona as a possible get-right game. While this will be Zona's home opener (requiring the team to travel out west), they were barely able to hold on to a lead against the hapless Saints who got a chance to tie the game up with 2min left that ended at the ARI 18. Kyler Murray was 21/29 with 2 passing TDs but for only 163yds (5.6yd AVG) and a QBR of 50.9 (RTG 108.8). He was also sacked five times for 33yds. Meanwhile, Spencer Rattler went 27/46 and was sacked just once for 6yds. Kyler also carried the ball seven times for 38yds. James Conner struggled to get going (12 carries, 39yds) but Trey Benson had a good day thanks to a 52yd scamper (8 carries, 69yds). Arizona has weapons in MHJ and McBride, but the CBs have been playing well enough for McBride to be the true focus of the defense. MHJ had a good game though against the Saints, so hopefully Jaycee + Mike Jackson can disrupt that connection. The Cardinals also aren't a disciplined team... with an opportunity to put the Saints away they gave up a TFL and a holding penalty before having the field goal attempt blocked. Their OL suuuuucks at run blocking and got better pass blocking from their TEs in week 1 than they did from any OL except for Paris Johnson Jr. Isaiah Adams and Hjalte Froholdt especially had issues as did Jonah Williams. If the Panthers' revamped DL can't get pressure against them it might be worth giving the alarm a pull.
