Why the love for two DT's that can't sack the QB or make TFL and get pushed around against the run? I don't get what so many people see about Floyd and Richardson that makes them top talent. Sorry ass run defenders who pressure, but do not seal the deal, that is what I see.

I quit when I couldn't find Star in the top 15

I do not understand the obsession dude. He is a damn good 3-4 DE/NT, but a 4-3 DT? No.

He makes around four impact plays and was not that important to the game, they only doubled him a couple of times and was generally contained. Yes, he can push himself forward and beat a center, but he is not getting constant pressure and tends to get pulled to often for my taste.

I made it 5:20 into that video and I saw 8 double teams, 2 pressures and 1 QB hit as a NT. That isn't a big impact as a 4-3 NT? I'm just wondering. While I feel the same about him being overrated because of his technique issues, I also have to admit that's a pretty big impact for a 4-3 NT.

Star is a 43 NT dude. What are you taking about?

I think you're getting caught up way too much with Star being Haloti Ngata.

Sheldon Richardson is so overated it makes no sense. He gets pushed around in just about every run play. Yes he does make the play after the first down, but by that time who cares. I think that the experts have overhyped this guy to the max. And when you see the interviews you just get the feeling that he will be a bust.

    • I still think another QB is brought in Day 3. Grier is camp body level at this point.
    • We’re in a pickle. My best hope is we protect him and can run the ball vs most Ds and the WRs are healthy so he has every chance to not look like what he looked like in too many games last year.
    • I'm really not stressing about upgrading from Bryce. I'm frustrated with our inability (or refusal) to recognize overall bad QB performance and failure to seriously address the issue. QB is the most impactful position on the field, and we're not only settling for what we've been given to this point, but we've rewarded it with a fully guaranteed 5th year extension for a player that's never played 2 NFL franchise QB quality games back to back in 3 seasons. I can't understand how that's ok from a coach's or GM's viewpoint. Successful franchises don't do things like this. It just doesn't make sense.  We do not have a top half of the league QB right now. Since we don't have that player, we should be looking for him. Pickett isn't it. Grier isn't it. Bryce hasn't proven he is yet. Until you have that sure fire franchise QB, you keep looking. You're not consistently making the playoffs, a deep run, or a SB appearance without one.  What's the worst that could happen? We end up with 2 potential number 1 QBs? How horrible.
