Found these gems on the falcons board

Keuchly is a very good MLB, but nothing about him scares you. He isn't a guy you have to gameplan for, he's just good at doing what's asked of him. He isn't a crazy fumble forcer, he's pretty awful in coverage, at the end of the day he's a run stuffing 2 down MLB and the 2nd best MLB from the 2012 draft behind Bobby Wagner.

Delusion running rampant in Falcon land, others are pissed off we landed a premier player at 14.

Their reaction to us drafting Star.

"Minnesota, St. Louis and sadly, Carolina. They're 5 years late, but they've finally found their replacement for Kris Jenkins, and knowing what we have at guard right now, I'm horrified."

"Carolina has a scary front 7"

"Panthers - My worst fears came true when they got the best NT in the draft. Thank God we got Konz last year to deal with that."

"Carolina got a potential multi-year pro bowler in star IMO"

Honestly this is like jealousy in elementary school.

I would be extremely jealous if our rival team had back to back rookies of the year, and just drafted arguably the best defensive player on the draft with another pick on the way.

    • There probably isn’t an orthopedic surgery that has had more improvement in technique and outcomes over the last two decades than the acl repair. Because of its importance in pro sports and the sheer number that surgeons do there have been lots of opportunities to practice 1. Better techniques - arthroscopic v open surgery means people heal faster  2. More training - all sports med surgeons have tons of experience doing them 3. better imaging - later generations of mri are more sensitive  4. better therapy - PTs have gotten better at rehabbing them and the theories of rehab have improved a lot. No idea about brooks in particular tho, but I’d describe that overall situation as “not great”
    • If Freeling or either of the Utah OTs dropped to 19 I'd be more than happy honestly. Our OT situation isn't great with an aging Moton at RT and a mess of a situation at LT if Walker goes down at any point in time.  What I'm expecting the Panthers to do is probably draft another weapon like Sadiq or KC Conception. That's been their track record in drafting R1 thus far. None of the defensive talent projected to be around 19 stands out to me. Unless they just want to draft a LB early (Rodriguez,  CJ Allen, Anthony Hill, Jake Gollday).
