Quick Question: I Heart Radio or Pandora?

I'm currently using I Heart Radio. Is Pandora any different, better, or worse?

 

If other, please educate me!

I listen to Spotify and I'm not going back.

Free version has ads but you can create custom playlist, radio stations, or just listen to the cd or individual song you want.

I've only used Pandora and I can't complain. It's actually helped me find new artists to listen to based on the ones I like.

I have never used anything but pandora. I did a quick google search to see the difference between the 2. Came across one I never heard of called "rdio" that looks cool too.

Can anyone tell me the major differences between Spotify,rdio, and pandora?

If you are just streaming a random mix based on an artist, Pandora beats iheartradio. More selection and diversity. I would keep hearing the same songs with iheartradio.

Spotify is great, as you can create your own playlist and stream just about any album that's not The Beatles or Zeppelin. You can even save and listen to those songs offline.. The trick is, it costs $9.99 per month to have on your phone so you better listen to a lot of music.

But spotify does have a free radio available on your phone. Very similar to pandora with a big selection of songs.

The desktop version just blows pandora out of the water.

I do Pandora along with the Sonos system. If you don't skip songs very much there are very few commercials in my experience.

 

Haven't tried the others but no complaints...

occasionally i will use grooveshark on the desktop if there are artists that dont want to be on youtube.

 

spotify my friends tell me is great to save songs in a folder where as in pandora, you can make a song a fav or bookmark it but still have to go back and search for it.

 

i have a dozen of new artists i have went out and bought there stuff soley because of Pandora. in fact, i have some songs that i will use if i ever get a screen play produced. for realz.

neither really compare to pandora, as they are mostly streaming from actual radio stations.

I used pandora when it first started and the way it found bands you may like was way off. i haven't used it since probably 2008. I've heard new users have to pay to use it. i hope that isn't true

In my experience Pandora was amazing at finding bands I like. I started a few channels around two years ago and after a day or so of liking or disliking songs it was spot on for every one.

 

I have a speaker on the deck that I just throw on a certain channel and I am good to go.

 

Don't pay anything.

like i said, i used it early on. i surely hope its been perfected since then.
