Gross and Tolbert were in Asheville, NC at the Grove Park Inn for some golfing charity. yaaaayyyaaaaa

-- Gross stayed in the room Burt Reynolds stayed in, was pretty excited about that

-- Tolbert didn't bring proper clothing for the nighttime event. Nobody told him to bring nice clothes. So he showed up in shorts and tennis shoes. lol  Had to send somebody to get him some clothes. Said he looked like he was going to the Prom.  The mental imagery of him like that at the Grove Park Inn is hilarious.  To give you an idea about the kind of place this is; some of the people who stayed there have been;  William Howard Taft, Franklin D. Roosevelt, Dwight Eisenhower, Barack Obama, Don Cheadle, William Shatner, ect.

-- Tolbert said he hit a six golfing.. Gross asked what that meant. Said he hit about 3 squirrels, two rabbits, ect.

-- Both said they suck at golfing, hit a bunch of houses, animals, ect.

-- Gross asked what Tolbert thought about the Panthers organization when he was in San Diego. Tolbert said "you never wanna say you are scared of playing a team, but on paper we had everything."

-- Tolbert said it was a life and business decision to move to NC. Said the playbook was easy to transition, since Rivera and Chud were over there.

--Tolbert and Gross start making fun of Rivera. Say's he says OK a lot like the dude from South Park.  Make fun of his sunglasses always slipping down. And calling him "Chico." Then start making fun of Stewart, saying he has no personality and just says, Go, Ducks" or something like that.

-- Tolbert is apparently a beast in the weight room. Can out work offensive lineman.

-- Gross says Tolbert is one of the best athletes on the team. Tolbert wants to be on dancing with the stars.

-- Tolbert says he loves this team, he feels really, really comfortable. Said team he had in "san diego, were great football friends."

Said the team here "are friends for life," could call anyone up and they'd be there for him. Loves playing here.

-- Gross talks about doing a spin class in Costa Rica on vacation when he was rehabbing from ankle surgery. And the instructor lady being crazy. Funny story.

-- Tolbert family fun; take the family to waffle house or Ihop. Loves the all-star breakfast with one extra waffle. lol.  Then takes daughter to the park.

Tolbert is a really funny, down to earth dude. I would defintely check this episode out.

tolbert is the man

interesting- what he said about our team that they are good teammates for life commending their character. Said that the same couldn't be said about his teammates in San Diego.

    • You’re playing madden we’re talking real football stuff…. He does have you seen his special on internet he def thinks he’s getting paid
    • Without the team having an identity kinda hard to predict what they value.  They either are really trying to build a balanced team, or preparing for another swing at qb if Bryce doesn’t pan out. Seems like we value the o line but the $ spent there has been underwhelming besides Lewis, you could say it’s because of injuries but still hasn’t been worth the investment. as already stated, the whole handling of Bryce young as a whole has been ass backwards, we spent the years we’re supposed to take advantage of having a qb with a lower cap hit, building the team up to be adequate. now It appears, key word appears, the saints have done it correctly, which is painful to even think about. Regardless, I hope the front office has paid attention to qb contracts recently, such as Tua, Kyler, Daniel jones(pre colts) and don’t settle for subpar qb play at franchise qb rates
    • This is the flaw in your logic.  Cutting 3 of our best players will somehow move us from whatever we are to "compete". Even the most Young super fans are not predicting a ceiling above top 10-12, and that will not nearly cut it.  Someone will need to break the log jam of QBs getting nothing or North of 50. Our qb is at best a middle ground, lets hope it will be us that also manage to pay the worth at about 100 over 3 years.  And before you jump me, yes that is only of he improves.
