McNabb thinks Griffin is overexposed

Agreed.

I'm not sure everyone is aware on the finer details of RG3's back story this season?

It was reported that, RG3 essentially guilt-ed Shanahan into playing him that last playoff game by saying, 'I'll never forgive you, if you don't play me coach'. Even the broadcaster mentioned it. That sounds selfish to me.

RG3 also said to the media before that last playoff game at his presser: "I give this team the best chance to win", despite his bum leg, when discussing should he start/not play. This is curious, especially when it was reported by media who followed training camp, that RG3 was outplayed by Cousins (Of course, this is buried history now, until RG3 struggles). So why wouldn't he think Cousins could help? Hadn't Cousins won a game previously as well? Hmmmh.

And we all know, how Griffin handled the Cam question this season, especially compared to how Cam graciously responded to his own RG3 inquiry (and sought him out after the game). Griffin answered like a petulant child, regardless of what you wanna say about who he aspires to be. It also didn't help he lost the game. Let's just admit it. He showed his lack of maturity, diplomacy and grace there. He'll get better.

Those are just a few tidbits. I'll stop here. Isn't that enough?

As far as Cam: Despite his media reputation, when has he ever thrown a team mate under the bus, questioned his coaches (when he certainly could on some Rivera 4th downs or punt calls), and spoke poorly of another opponent, mind you a contemporary at his position? None, that I can recall.

What I said about Griffin earlier, may have sounded harsh and direct to some indeed. However, it's largely true and indicative of RG3 as far as we know. And, despite what I've recently written, I don't dislike RG3 in the least. He's a good QB. No doubt. I just think both his NFL QB skills, and media Persona, from what we've seen, heard and read, are a bit overrated, and stated (mind you, Ye Ole Good Guy Griifin, vs Evil/Bad Buy Newton routine by the media). That's all. It's nothing personal.

It is what it is.

A pro football player wanting to get in the game?

Unheard of

RG3 was basically insinuating, 'I have the fan base behind me. And if you don't play me, I'll let the media know, so they can run you out of town'. At least that's how it was reported.

I have no problem with him wanting to play. Good for him. But he tried to undermine his coaches decision with veiled threats (who eventually took the blame/fall for his injury). And he publicly, indirectly dissed Cousins the same way, right  before he got hurt; so he was wrong.

You telling me,  you don't see the irony, juxtaposition, and insecurity/selfishness, especially in contrast to his public persona?

If it was another QB (and no I'm not saying Cam), his season ending story could have been a debacle.

I probably would...if I wanted to see it as badly as you do.

If you say so.

I just call the facts, relevant info as it is, present themselves.

No hate or predisposition at all.

These sort of things usually reveal themselves in a big way at some point.

Maybe this McNabb thing will be the tipping point, precursor or omen (shrugs)?

Yeah.  I'm sure no one would read your posts and think you had any preconceived notions

This may surprise you, but cheering for one player doesn't mean you have to hate other players.  Posting silliness like you did above dumps on whatever credibility you might have otherwise had on this topic (and probably in general).

So RG3 is getting more attention than Newton right now?  Who gives a flaming rip?  Endorsements don't win games, and winning games is all that matters.

Like it or not, Griffin comes across as a fairly likeable guy.  What's unfortunate for him is that he's in an offense that's likely to end his career earlier than it otherwise might have.

Maybe after that happens, you'll feel better.

So clueless, such nonsense.

It's not even worth responding to.

Let's leave it at that.
