DA KRAKEN IS IN THE HOUSEEEEE (and they let me start my own topic)

My wish list:

Make every 2013 opposing QB fold in half like you did Carson Palmer.

For my end of the bargain, I promise to yell and scream my ass off in the ear of an opposing fan at every home game.

FWIW On Game of Thrones, every time I see the Greyjoy sigil (It is a Kraken) I think of you... The house words of the Greyjoys are "We do not sow" basically meaning they just reap...

That's kinda like you, too... You're the Reaper...

Thanks for taking the time to come here publicly like this, and good luck out there on the field. Do work!

Get up. Shake your hands off. Go all Cousin Vinny "I'm done with this one." as you walk back to the huddle. Turn back around and give them the "Kraken Growl". Show that Alpha dominance.

That said. Couldn't your time be better spent? Not trying to tell you what to do, but... jk, everyone being so polite. Where are the real Huddlerz? G-Hard, can I call you G-Hard?, deserves to see the true Huddlez, the ugly underbelly, if he is to be a member.

tl/dr version. Welcome aboard Kraken.

This feels like as good of a place as any to remind folks about Greg Hardy and what a steal he was for us to get him when we did. There were 21 defensive ends picked before him in 2010. There were 2 teams that took a punter before he went off the board (lol, the Bucs were one of those teams who went that route). I know sacks are just one stat to look at, but for comparison purposes look at where these guys are picked and how many career sacks they have compared to G Hardy's 18.

1st round (13th overall): Brandon Graham (8.5)

1st round (15): Jason Pierre-Paul (27.5)

1st round (16): Derrick Morgan (10.5)

1st round (31): Jerry Hughes (5)

2nd round (40): Koa Misi (9)

2nd round (43): Sergio Kindle (0)

2nd round (52): Jason Worrilds (10)

2nd round (53): Jermaine Cunningham (3.5)

2nd round (54): Carlos Dunlap (20)

3rd round (72): Alex Carrington (4)

3rd round (86):  Daniel Teo'-Nesheim (5)

4th round (100): Everson Griffen (12)

4th round (109): Corey Wooton (8)

4th round (116): Thaddeus Gibson (0)

4th round (127): EJ Wilson (0)

4th round (130): O'Brien Schofield (10.5)

5th round (134): Ricky Sapp (0)

5th round (142): Cameron Sheffield (0)

5th round (143): Larry Hart (1.5)

5th round (149): Hall Davis (0)

5th round (153): Austen Lane (3)

JPP and Dunlap are the only guys ahead. Dunlap is a more situational pass rusher and has something like 60 less tackles than the Kraken. We can lament some of the other picks that we made that year, but know that if a redraft was done that he would not be on our team since we didn't have a first rounder.

Greg, I flipped the fug out when the team drafted you because I knew you'd be an absolute steal. Also, thank you so very much for doing what every Panther fan in the world wanted to do after that Falcons win.

    • AT got what he deserved. Be gone and enjoy those 4 catches and the bench and your pay cut
    • we have been bad offensively basically every game Rico Dowdle hasn't gone full Tecmo Bowl Bo Jackson on folks.
    • Strongly disagree with the premise here. Without getting too into it, the biggest gripe for many has always been his footwork and pocket presence.  Shallow drops, happy feet, bad awareness - his overall technique is highly unconventional and not beneficial to his size/frame.  His upper body gets mad out of sync with his lower, drops back parallel to the LOS, erratic behavior. When you take that to the NFL level, you get swallowed up. And he got shellshocked and started bailing way too soon on plays. Unnecessary throwaways when he should step UP into the pocket and hit.   He got away with it in school because sooo much of his work was out of structure or quick hits to Jamo.  He was able to not bail early and stick in the pocket this last game. He also was dropping deeper than he usually does to create sight lanes. He can’t really outrun DLs so he needs to create that space via drop to survey properly. When he does these bs skip hops in the gun, he barely drops and is flooded. He needs to stay active with his feet but learn to step into the pocket more.  His average arm when he’s not doing this right turns Pennington esque.
