NBA Finals Thread - (2) San Antonio Spurs vs. (1) Miami Heat

I disagree with you, a former college player at OSU (can't remember his name) actually gives out an award (collegr award) each year for the player that impacts the game the least (based on certain statistics). If you look at all of Manu's mistakes and at the time he committed them, there wouldn't even be a question that Manu cost the Spurs the championship. Green was more of just an invisible player out there than anything.

On top of that no one expected Green to play as well as he did this series. As a matter of fact for five games, Danny Green did Manu's job for him.

Shane had a good game tonight though, for a Dookie of course.

Disagree all you want but Danny Green is a catch and shoot guy in the NBA. Similar to how not-so-good things typically happen when Ray Allen puts it on the floor at this stage in his career.

When Danny Green drove to the basket he destroyed the disclipline of Pops offense where he is there to spread the court..not make plays.

Danny Green did not do Manu's job unless your saying his explosive production made up for Manu's contributions points wise. Manu facilitates the offense and drives to the basket which he still did fairly well for most the game except the jump pass and the twoother passes out of bounds.

Each miss Green had was a transition basket the other way but really if you see a replay watch how DG was laboring down the court like he had a back injury or something. It was slight but not how he was moving these playoffs. I think he played injured...also he was pressing to do more than he did in game 6.

Danny Green is a really good player Chuck so I am not on board with the worse player on the Spurs. He stopped Lebron in transistion more than anyone I have seen since Lebron has been in the league. Also he is as good as Sean Elliot, who I think is a good player. He is not Glen Rice good and definitely better than Richard Jefferson.
