How would Cam look with Juilo,Roddy, and Tony G

Olsen is a better player today than tony is today.

Id take smith over white today

So really its only juilo we are missing which is huge but we also have more talented runners.

Its really time for Cam to put it all together, no more excuses, its time to win.

Drew is entering his twilight but as of now he's the top dawg. I despise him but he's the best in the division right now. Cam as a player is already better than both Matt Ryan and Freeman. Ill go with:

1: Brees( and the gap is closing.)

2: Cam

3: Ryan

4: freeman

The biggest reason I've got Cam at 2 is brees is on an awful team with a bad defense and bad coaching(last year). This did not make anyone say he was less of a QB. But everyone is so quick to bash Cam because the other 21 players on O and D couldn't help him enough. Cam is an absolute beast and he's still a baby(in age). We got us a good'un.

I agree that Cam has more talent than Ryan and will be better, but Ryan is more of a closer now.  Think about all the close games last year that Atlanta pulled out last year at the last minute.

RW-92rec 1351yds 7td

Yea it's more than just Julio but keep telling yourself that I won't even compare his numbers to Lafell.

I don't think any of those QBs could do what Cam did at Auburn in 2010(I know, this is the NFL)

Cam is still top 50 player on a 'sophomore slump' on a losing team.

The better question is which QB is harder to defend. Since the Giants defense stated after going against RG3 the prior week facing Brees is much easier(Saints got manhandled), being that Cam and RG3 have similar skill set, I would say Cam is harder to defend in the division.

By deductive reasoning Cam is the better QB. Until Cam crap his pants on a team with a good OL, WRs, etc. he'll always get my vote.

That is true but it has absolutely nothing to do with Ryan being the better QB. Cam tried to close games and the D or ST would give it away.

So youd rather have gonzalez instead of olsen and white instead of smith?

Ask your self what smitty would have done lined up alongside julio jones and what olsen would have done with ryan who is a more accurate short passer than Cam. You cant compare numbers you have to look at the players.

fitz is a key example of this.

    • 100%. Nick Scott was awful last year. Like, even for a franchise that hasn't historically invested in that position, it stood out for how awful it was. If he sees meaningful snaps at S again we're cooked.  Maybe he has value for ST, but I certainly hope we can upgrade. Jordan Fuller, who was by all accounts an Evero guy, was almost as bad. Xavier Woods was bad, but not complete garbage. Still did not want him back. Those 3 guys seriously may have been the worst S group in the NFL. And they all were brought in, especially Fuller, as good fits for this system. Everyone knocks the defensive line, and they deserve a lot of blame, too, but so, so many times our safeties inability to tackle let 4-5 yard runs turn into 10+. And it happened over and over and over again if you watch the film. Honestly, Demani Richardson was the only S by the end of the year I remember making positive plays. I have no issue with Richardson being in the mix and/or competing to be a starter, but we still need another S desperately IMHO who has actually played meaningful snaps in the NFL. The only caveat/excuse for our secondary was the fact our pass rush was nonexistent for large stretches last year. Maybe that helps with coverage, but I dont see how that makes any of these guys better at tackling.  I know it somewhat feels like piling on at this point, but I feel 100% confident in saying this was the worst tackling team in franchise history. The 70ish yard pass play we gave up to Jamarr Chase where he ran through and past everyone in the secondary has to be up there in terms of most embarrassing plays I've ever seen. I can't imagine how embarrassed Kuechly must have been watching from the booth... I think bringing back Evero was a mistake, but for a team that has had nothing but change over the past 5 years, I'm willing to see this through. I definitely think we added significantly to the floor of this defense with the additions we made. I dont think Evero has any further excuses if he cant field a unit that can at least somewhat hold their own. Fixing the safety play is going to be a big part of that.
    • While I would like to see Nikishkin play, I definitely wouldn't want it to be for Chatty who is a lockdown defender like Slavin
    • 2 teams with sub 2% odds winning it within a span of less than 20 years. Quite unbelievable.
