We are like the Rodney Dangerfields of the NFL

Hoping we change that this season.

If I were Rivera, I would buy a box, give every player one and then show them the tape of the Panthers destroying the Cowboys in the playoffs years ago and Lamar Lathon asking on camera, "do you know where Charlotte/NC is now?" I swear I cannot remember if he said Charlotte or NC, but I was delirious anyway cause we thumeped the Boys

I know you sold (or are trying to sell) your PSLs, now you're selling your gear? Have you totally checked out on the Panthers?

I haven't totally checked out. I'll likely attend 3-4 games this year. The wife is a complete fanatic and will never allow me to check out and I'll always be a fan of the game, but the business side of the NFL has made me somewhat of a cynic. I've been watching this game since I was a kid back in the 60's and while the sport has evolved into a business, the games themselves are still fun to watch. I just have to learn to separate the 2, which is very difficult.

 

I've just moved as well and my drive to Charlotte nearly doubled from 2:15 to almost 4 hours, so additional considerations need to be made for the games we will attend. And as part of my move and staying with DirecTV, they gave me NFL Sunday Ticket for free this season... that's pretty hard to beat.

 

As far as my jerseys go, I purchased two since 1995- the Lamar Lathon and a Stephen Davis- both hugely underrated players in my estimation. But I don't wear them anymore, so I'd love to pass them on to someone who will appreciate them. They aren't the true $175 jerseys, but the $80 version...
