Cant disagree, but the only thing I'll say is that he does some things unintentionally and many times innocently that just incite a shitstorm of media bullshit. He needs to learn to stop doing these things.

 

I know that he was being honest, but couldn't he see the headlines the second he said that? He should, from now on, just not fall into trap questions.

 

Thats the the thing, Cam NEVER pays attention to any of this stuff. I doubt he even knows they roast him on everything he says. Cam is probably always out handling his business football wise and living his life. I doubt he barely watches tv surfs internet to catch what is said about him nor does he ever think about it. Its the only reason he could constantly speak without worry of how is words will be interrupted.

Couldn't agree more...i have never understood the hatred, other than attributing it to jealousy for his  abundant talent.  I mean the guy is always laughing and smiling and was genuinely a good guy at Auburn.  He goes out of his way to do stuff for community and kids and it's not just a PR thing and it's not new for him.  Sure, he gets upset with himself and overreacts when he fails sometimes, but he is still young and a winner and is learning to deal with failing.  I just don't understand the hatred.  He is not perfect but damn, he is a pretty good guy, genuine and phenomenal talent to watch.  Unless he ever does something that shows he has bad character or a crook like over half of the NFL, I think we are pretty dang lucky to have him on our side.  So far;

-he gets really upset when he loses or fails,

-he's not the greatest post game speaker on the podium

-he said he likes the Falcons...

People grow up loving a team. You can't just get rid of that. I know if I moved to a new city or whatever I could never stop loving the Panthers. It's okay for him to be a fan of the Falcons. He is also a fan of the Panthers because that is who he plays for and he gives everything he's got to beat the hell out of the Falcons and that is all that matters to me. Don't beat a guy up for being honest. He is loyal to the Panthers and has done a lot for this franchise and loves it. That's all that matters.
