NBA Draft 2009

Its The Milk

Interesting development with Rubio. He doesn't want to play for the Wolves, and his Father is saying that they will stay in Europe most likely. While the Wolves President is saying he flat out isn't trading Rubio, if he has too he'll wait for Rubio to be done with his European contract. lol

I gave the team a B, no pluses or minuses. It was a good solid draft by the Bobcats, they picked up a need in Henderson and we got an athletic guy who can play the 3 or 4 in the second round. So we have some depth behind Diaw now. Only way the grade could have been better for me is if Blair fell to us in the second round or if DeRozan fell to us in the First round. Maybe both.

The 9th pick in this draft will end up being the best player in this draft.

Derozan

Rubio

Evans

Jennings

Henderson

Williams

Griffin

Hill

Lawson

Curry

Those will probably end up being the 10 best players in this draft.

Spaniards now have their own Eli Manning.

I don't think its fair to say the only way they could have done better is to pick someone that wasn't on the board. They made the best two picks they could when it was their turn.....A

I don't get the hype surrounding this kid?? He is a 6'5'' PG that can't shoot. If he was 22 instead of 18 he would have been a low first round pick (IF he got into the first round at all). Maybe he develops, maybe he doesn't...but right now IMO he is essentially Steve Nash without the jump shot which isn't really very spectacular at all.

The Wolves could have taken Derozan and Flynn or how about Steph Curry and Derozan...that would have been a hell of a draft. I just don't get the logic in taking two PGs back to back when there is still so much talent left on the board.

A taller Jason Williams(white one).

His passing ability, court vision, ball handling and height is what started getting him hyped up. I thought they should have went with Demar Derozan and Flyn with those picks. They got one of them right.
