If you are going to continue these "attempts" at trolling, you're going to need to work on your material.

I "troll" you because you are a jerk. You make negative comments to all of my posts, and apparently you are just as much of a fug to several others on here. I politely ask you to stop commenting to my posts and yet you continue. So, if you can't leave me alone, I will continue to "troll" you regardless of material content.

Ah the "I'm not a troll" routine, how innovative you are. The last thread you were in when you quickly abandonded ship after you got exposed it sure looked like everybody else wasn't buying your antics either. Keep trying.

OK I do have a serious question for black Huddlers.  I've been reading the responses to the various Cooper stories and it seems that if you say the N word and it ends with an A then it's a term of endearment and when you say it and it ends with an R then it's hate.  So if a white guy says the N word and it ends with an A then can he say that as a term of endearment to a black friend?

 

Also Paula Dean got her career ruined b/c she admitted to saying the word 30 yrs ago.  What if I am singing some of my favorite rap songs and I repeat the lyric that happens to have the N word in it?  Does that mean I'm racist?  

 

I guess I'm just confused as to the unwritten rules of the N word...not trying to stir trouble, was just curious...

 

no it is not.with the expanded role of hip hop, more people are now hearing that word more.

This thread won't about Cooper.. This thread us about taking a look at yourself... Some of you should read your own comments and see how unreasonable you sound. Didn't Jesus say "judge not, lest you be judged" ... If it was a black player saying "ill fug up every cracker in. There " who would be saying anything? Yeah that word doesn't have the same history but isn't it the intentions behind the comment that. Counts? I don't condone what was said but I do think its time that we as a people learn how to forgive and forget. Especially when someone obviously wants and need your forgiveness. We all need to hold ourselves to a higher standard

      I originally hated the Miller deal but with the cap projected to rise nearly $10M next season the Canes struck some pretty good deals between Miller and Ehlers. Most of the team is locked in for the next few years. Nikishin will need an extension probably in the $6M AAV range. And Blake will need one if we don’t move him. Personally I’d move Blake, picks, and any prospect not named Nikishin/Nadeau/Artamonov for McTavish as I don’t see any any of the big time players moving teams next year. Realistically the Hurricanes should just target Gustavsson next year to fix the goal tending issue. But I’m all for moving Blake, picks, and prospects for McTavish this year. Ehlers - Aho - Jarvis Svechnikov - McTavish - Stankoven Martinook - Staal - Carrier Hall - Kotkaniemi - Robinson Jost - Jankowski Slavin - Miller Nikishin - Chatfield Gostisbehere - Walker Reilly Andersen Kochetkov I’d do Blake, Felix-Unger-Sorum, and 27 2nd for McTavish.

      Very true on the length but stuff like this is never where we shine. We aren’t a good team at drafting.

      Homerism aside, the more I see from Dan, the more impressed I am.  His player evaluation instincts. Last year his 2 premier FA signings, Hunt and Lewis COMPLETELY changed the line and I have a feeling his success in choosing blue chip guys will continue.  Look at the panthers’s rep for FA signings in the past. By and large, it’s been guys 1 year past their prime who had an injury and suckered our GM in to a crippling contract. We never get nice things. When was the last time this team signed 2 young blue chip studs  in the same offseason to contracts worthy of their impact? Ever?  Im telling y’all, players respect and trust Morgan.
