Soccer '13-'14 season

RVP, Nani, Vidic, Ferdenand and Hernandez are all goners in my opinion. ManUre won't get much for them. Maybe £40m for all 5.

German wingers and strikers usually do poor in EPL so he can go ahead and get em. Podolski was amazing but EPL is too pacey for him. Kroos will be good addition.

Yea, Vidic is already confirmed gone. I'd imagine Nani and Hernandez are definitely gone. Maybe collect £12m for both of them. Not sure what he does with RVP. I'd imagine a 31 year old striker would be hard to justify in premiership for a top club.

yea, in my heart they lost.  I expected them to win.  Sort of like "win or gtfo"

Yep.

It was a surreal match. I will generally have any premier league match on tv on a weekday afternoon just for something in the background. Once it went to 2-0 I kind of tuned out and once it went to 3-0 my kid actually started flipping channels but got bored and switched back.

CP finally scored and I barely looked up but started watching. Then another in 2 mins and the way liverpool was playing it didn't seem like any question CP would equalize or even win. They were just opening up the game and Liverpool seemed to clam up.

I think the best matches I have seen this year have been Palace matches.

    • I would say the extremes from both camps in these conversations have to do with the blurring of the fact Bryce is a first overall pick and the expectations for that draft slot fair or not far exceed just being a top 20-25 starter amongst your peers. Regardless. All logical Panthers fans want him to be the answer.
    • The offseason is always when hope springs eternal. If you look past that, you can see a very bad roster with a lot more questions than definitive answers. Let's hope we get a lot of those right, because I think we are a lot closer to another impatient Tepper reset than we probably think.
    • These arguments are getting more and more disingenuous from both the pro and anti Bryce crowd. Bryce looked very good for stretches down the final 8 games. He finally showed glimpses of the guy that was projected as a top QB pick in the draft. Bryce also didn't look like a top 10 NFL QB.  I think we are so far removed from Prime Cam that we forget what an elite QB looks like. I could tell that when people were losing their minds and simping for Sam Darnold. This season needs to finally showcase Bryce as a franchise talent. If that doesn't happen, it's time to pivot. There are very few recent examples of QB's struggling or being a mixed bag through the first three seasons of starting and then suddenly becoming frachise caliber players.
