Potential Buyer for Bobcats

Its The Milk

Thats a hard question. Why doesn't MJ's "group" involve that guy.

Postolos seems to know what he is doing and seems to be a very smart guy. I would have to say that he would probably give us the better future.

But at the same time MJ has been really loyal to us.

Don't have to worry about loyalty the team is set here till 2025. Can't move the team. Plus the team makes the money from the arena. Idk if the team (which isn't set from what I've seen) does involve Postolos already or not. I would prefer if MJ's team does buy the Cats that he has someone like Postolos on it.

People from this area often have a problem when people from outside come in and buy their teams and have the audacity to not live here!!!

Michael has roots here and has for a long long time. I think he should do it. You'll see the Jordan brand all over the website and arena...

Who would you rather buy the team. MJ and his group or Postolos?

I would vote for Postolos' group any day of the week.

MJ was a GREAT player.....but is God Awful at running a team.

Did you not see how bad the team he helped put together was coming into this season? LB came in and got rid of damn near everybody.

MJ's draft picks....May, Felton, Ajinca, Morrison.....enough said.

Jordan wasn't apart of the Felton and May picks. He wasn't here yet. Also i thought Brown was the one who was really high on Ajinca, at least that's what the reports were when we picked him.

Firstly, May and Felton weren't his draft picks, he wasn't here yet. Ajinca was Brown's project and Morrison wasn't as horrible as you make him out to be. No one predicted that he would flame out so badly after his ACL injury (people seem to forget that his rookie season really wasn't that bad, he actually did a solid job).

The above is really semantics though. Jordan may have not done the best job in his previous stead with the Wizards but I think he learned a lot and is very much improved from that time. I would prefer Jordan.

For the 3rd overall pick, Morrison was horrible. Especially given what Brandon Roy who was picked 3 picks later and plays the same position has become.

Morrison was beyond horrible before his ACL. He shot 37%, was possibly the worst rebounder in the league for his size and the amount of minutes he played. Overall he was just extremely inefficient. He had a 7.91 PER playing 30mpg. An average players PER is around 15. Believe me plenty of people saw this coming too. Morrison was an all or nothing pick.

Yes but my overall point was more that revisionist history of course doesn't shine well on the Morrison pick but at the time, I certainly don't remember that many people poo pooing the pick. I'm probably being too kind to MJ on that one though...I will agree that the pick was at least somewhat iffy/controversial.

    • I used to think Juan was a Zod alt. Agree he's a great poster.
    • Hawks said nah we good and sent him to the shadow realm aka the Wizards. Cold blooded. I mean they're 2-2 in a series with a young up and coming Knicks team largely through 34 year old CJ McCollum. Even if they ultimately lose the series at least they are there and have something to build on. I think Hornets fans are just beaten down and lack the objectivity to assess the situation. They think we are going to get so much worse if and when we finally change gears. Worse how? We've already been a lottery team for years now. We've already been looking to win our first playoff series in about a quarter century. We already can't get past the play in and in failing to do so we have completely embarrassed ourselves twice looking like we don't even belong. Honestly there is absolutely no excuse for a team like the Magic to be more competitive and successful than us in the playoffs. Absolutely disgusting. But that's just me. I was fuging lit when we got the Hornets back in Charlotte but that is old old news. It's time for these boys to get into a playoff series. Enough is enough. If they can't do it for 2026-27 then they need to make wholesale changes regardless.
    • Not one single pick that is asking me why we drafted a guy in the first place. It was a guy we needed and/or a guy that had certain traits making them stand out. Best of all, I feel everyone we drafted are capable of stepping onto the field this year and have a meaningful role (even Kuwatch on special teams). Obviously, nothing is guaranteed but I'm not seeing any huge flags on guys because they're risky projects or massive overreaches.
