Son, week 1 is gonna be a TEST.

Absolutely. Can't wait. I'm actually OK with us facing a worthy opponent out of the gate. What better way to change a slow start than to knock off a contender week one?

As far as all the concern about how we look so far. Preseason is Preseason. I try not to get too excited about the final score.

We knew we had some obvious areas of need going in. Play on the OL was one those. It still is. Nothing in TC or the first two preseason games has made me think it's worse than what we knew we had. I still have faith that G'man will make a move to at least attempt improvement in this area.

I would rather focus on the positives I've seen. The competition at WR has been awesome. Watching Gettis catch 8 passes in two games has been outstanding. How can a true Panther fan not be excited about this? I don't care if it's with the 2's, he's on the field making plays.

The difference in Armanti, (pre-injury), has also been refreshing. Anyone paying attention cannot say he's not a different receiver on the field. He seems to have more confidence. I don't buy in to the love him or hate him crap. He's a panther, and he's playing better. That makes me happy.

Josh Norman has shown that he is all in. I love it. Gano is making 50+ yard attempts. We've had no major injuries. (Knock on Wood) The defense now has the potential to be top 5. Star will be a Star. Beason is back in pads. TD is on the field and healthy. Luke's leadership and play will continue to be phenomenal. CJ and the Kraken will now have the opportunity get the respect that should have already been given.

We are heading in the right direction and I'm excited to be a Panther fan.

Judging by Skip Bayless' tweet he agrees that Seattle is going to be good and he is never wrong about anything......well except for  what conference Seattle plays in. I can only hope he is not this stupid and was hitting the sauce Saturday night. Nah who am I kidding, he is that stupid.

Skip Bayless         @RealSkipBayless

Must admit, Seahawks looking like more of a threat to New England in the AFC than Denver is right now.

I'm not worried, I simply said week 1 is going to test us. It's a good way to test our teams manhood.

Seattle will not be ready for the defening silence of BofA Stadium and our "12th Librarian" crowd.

It's more like a wine tasting. There's chatter and when someone proposes(3rd down) there's a roar. The problem from recent years is the defense gives up too many conversions so by the 2nd quarter you feel like the other teams offense is actually imposing its will. Getting into 3rd and short easily and wearing out the D. Everyone just stops giving a fug at that point.

We win some games and play good defense it will get loud.
