I think if we had one more preseason game and Jimmy played great some people would be calling for him to start over Cam.  Man, most of this board is crazy hype for the last player to do anything good and let's cut anyone who screwed up.

Today Anderson played like a 1999 Steve Beuerlein he must stay.

And i agree with everyone above, Clausen must go, but his girl friend can stay.

Well this thread was certainly made obsolete after the Steeler game.

The thing is Clausen showed slight improvement in previous pre-season action, with gave thought that he would keep improving.  I think it is clear to everyone now that he will never be an NFL quality quarterback, not even a back-up.  On a side note, Fua actually played ok against 3rd stringers.

im still at the "cut whoever is cheaper"  they are both back ups...  if either of them play, were losing.. its that simple. so Trade DA while there might be a little bit of interstest in him.  spend that money on some line help. and at the end of the day you still have AE is you really really need a 3rd qb
