yep. i mean they couldn't even get close enough to get the FG unit on the field except the one time they got into the endzone and the time they almost got into the endzone and fumbled.

that's inexcusable, esp. going up against a defense that wasn't at full strength.

just because they didn't make many mistakes didn't mean they did their job. their job is to get points on the board and they didn't get enough. they failed.

i'm concerned. i honestly don't know if it is Cam not looking to make a big mistake or if that is how they game planned against the talented seahawks secondary.

see how they do against the bills before i start talking mad poo about shula for the rest of the year.

i'm still waiting for that moment that tells me i was wrong about him and that he's learned from his past.

didn't see it in preseason. didn't see it yesterday. i've got this sick feeling that i won't until maybe late in the season (and that's me being optimistic).

it's not even the play calling for me. I thought Shula was balanced, and called a good game. I'm just hoping Shula isn't in cam's ear screaming "conservative" all day long.

i want him to take those big play risks. Because that is who Cam is to an extent. He found that balance at the end of last year. And i just wonder if he didn't because of Sherman and company.

i think it's turning into a team culture thing. just try to not make any mistakes and don't put yourself at risk for making them and hopefully the defense will keep the score low enough that we can get by with just 10-14 points generated.

that is what is concerning.

its not even shula's play calling it's the mentality.

i still think that the plays took too long getting to the field and that the playcalling wasn't aggressive enough. they played it safe with every facet on offense and lost. i just expect more of it.

they need to let cam manage the game. sure shula should control the packages and personel on the field.. even make suggestions, but at the end of the day, Ive always felt the qb should be the one making descisions in the huddle..

my way

ginn "man im open every play, let me go deep"

cam - " ok  lets try it 99 X cross..."

the way it is now.

ginn  "man im open every play, let me go deep"

cam  "mike already called it man.   47 sprint"
