I liked the offense and I'm confident moving forward.

the game plan didn't work because we lost. we shouldn't have been put in the position that a fumble at that point would cost us the game. we should have gotten on the scoreboard more and we absolutely could have. i can't believe that there would be any game plan that would say "hey, all we need to do is score twice and we've got it made". the game plan should have included a plan on every possession to get points on the board or at least get the team in FG range. if it didn't, then someone needs to be fired right away.

people are trying to find a way to justify this loss or make it seem like we did everything right but still came away with the loss, but i'm contending that either we didn't do everything right and that is why we only scored once and lost the game because of a fumble or we did do everything that the plan called for, but we had the wrong plan for the game.

whatever, things didn't work out. we should have scored more. we absolutely could have scored more. we should have put ourselves in better position to win and we didn't. the offense failed the team and cost it a win.

It sounds like you're a kid playing madden. Those things don't "just happen" out of thin air. You don't just insert a ____ type of offense in and score ____ points. Every play comes with consequences and reactions from the opposing team. You can't say "hey we should have scored 25 points and then we would have won 25-12." It doesnt work like that. With the state of our secondary and the way the seahawks handled us on the 2 drives when they needed to, the entire game would have been different if we completely opened up the offense. If we scored 20 on them, u really think they couldnt do the same to our shitt-y secondary? The closer/slower the game the better chance u have vs their great offense. Had both teams come out 4 wide and spread all game, they would have destroyed us 45-28. Saying our gameplan didnt work simply because we lost is idiotic. The gameplan wasn't for DWill to fumble, the gameplan wasnt for Olsen to drop 2 gimmies and kill drives. We were around midfield ALL game. And WE beat ourselves with mistakes. The gameplan worked. We were In a position to win a game vs arguably the best team in the NFC with only minutes to play. And a fumble cost us. Yes there are around 100 plays in a football game, and u can point to any and say "we could have done THAT better." But at the end of the extremely hard fought battle with one of the best teams in the NFL. WE were the ones in perfect position to win. The gameplan worked

I'm not confident in the offense because we scored 7 points, I'm confident because we played a top 5 D, playoff caliber D/team, even with players missing, and was in position to win. Dwill's fumble hurt, but the muffed punt was the momentum changer. We were up 7-3, we were suppose to get the ball back. It was a vicious blow to us. What could have been 10-3 or 14-3, was 7-6. And yes could have could have, I get it. But it wasn't like we were stuffed all day. If our O is bad, Seattle's is too. Thats not the case.
