Hell of a trade for the Colts. Richardson can be one hell of a RB. He's the kind that hasn't been seen since the late 90's. Nice move for them.

If Richardson was drafted next year, I wouldnt want to use a first on him.   Dont get caught up in the next "Jim Brown" hype, I'd rather get the same production in the 2nd and 3rd.  

 

but that one dood is going to ride him to his fantasy championship, and the other guy was upset because he wanted Trent.

This is incredibly risky trade. Wow.

 

After hearing their rationale, its so obvious that the Browns are either a)Targeting Teddy next year b)Trying to get assets for a trade for a QB(who tho?)

The problem with (a) is that the Colts are most likely going to be good, so it's not going to be a high pick. Then they'd have to really tank to get a high pick of their own(on their way to doing it) and if they don't get the #1 pick, they'll have to trade up and that'll cost at least 3 1st rounders and some lower picks. So they mortgaging their franchise on a player who hasn't even finished his CFB career yet....

If you subtract the trade value that they lost trading up to get him, from the mid level pick they get this year, they are looking at a net of a 2nd rounder for a 1st.  Doh!

Looks like the tank process for franchise QB is in full effect by cleveland. Now they can get a franchise QB and a franchise OT/WR in the first round. Sometimes teams have to do things like that for better future instead of staying stagnant.

I'm surprised a #3 overall pick, who had an excellent rookie season, only brought a likely late first.

 

Maybe the RB position really is that devalued. 

Most likely a mid rounder.

Heard that the Browns were working out Willis McGahee. If they sign him, he'd give them just as much production as Richardson has proven to give.

IMO Bama running backs are almost all used up BEFORE they get to the League.
