Giants fan observations at the game

Most of the Giant fans around us were androgynous to the point where I couldn't make out if they were men or women even if my life depended on it.

I don't understand how we shut them out and hang 38 and people don't even mention you.  All you hear, Giants lines played like poo, not dynamic sack duo and first round rook and company find their stride, or former defensive rookie of the year lead his first shut out.

The hordes of loud mouth giant fans chanting and blathering about their team walking into the stadium was frustrating.  They acted as if they had already won the damn game.  Their attitudes on the way out was priceless!!  The look of shame and anger was everywhere!!!!  Fug them all!!!

Last night we took my dad out to eat for his birthday at logans steakhouse and as we were waiting to be seating a famiky of giants fans were walking out. Suddenly the dad just flipped out and knocked the barrell of peanuts over and then kicked the glass out of tbe front door. Lol

We haven't had a winning season since 2008.  It won't be about us until we win consistently.

I loved the aerial view of the stadium (at the start of the 4th quarter I think) and all you saw were people scattering out of the stadium, you know it was 90% Giant fans.  You could definately hear some cheering from the panther fans towards the end.

New York media is huge.  I watched the Giants post game wrap up and they didn't even mention Hardy or CJ by name.  It has as much or more to do with that than our history imo.  As far as they are concerned they just got embarrassed by a group of bums.

Being a New York team had a lot to do with it too.  We just haven't earned anyone's respect yet.  No one wants to go out on a leap of faith and back this team in the media.  By the time they do, we lay an egg and make them look like fools.  This team is just too damn inconsistent.  They are dangerous and can beat any team in the NFL.  They can also give the game away like no one else can.

I have been asked to sit down before at games... BUT yesterday was a first.  The fans behind me yesterday were Giants fans.  By the third quarter they tapped me on the shoulder after I stood up, again, during a big play.  They asked me if I would mind not standing up ..... LOL... I couldn't believe it.  Never before had an opposing teams fan asked me to sit.  It was classic.  I politely told him "That is not gonna happen", and left it at that.

 

One thing I will say is the Giant contingency was loud and thank you to the Panthers for shutting them up early, and keeping them that way.

I was in the restroom at halftime and was surrounded by giants fans talking crap about cam and how it was the worst offensive half they'd played in however long and we were lucky to be up 17 yada yada I siad no it was just a half of defensive domination then they said say what you want Eli's got 2 Super Bowl rings I proceeded to ask "with a show of hands how many of you are from or have lives in ny or nj ever?!?" 1 lonely PANTHER fan raised his hand hahahahhahahahah I turned around nuff said

Not too many problems in my section but it is almost completely PSL owners.  The only problem was a pair of giants fans who decided it would be a good idea to start smoking two rows in front of me and my wife.  I asked them twice (politely) and they smarted off. It ended without further incident. Later on they actually apologized for smoking so nothing major came out of it.  Most of the giants fans who left early did so in shame.  A few walked out holding up 4 fingers talking about their championships but no other problems.  Until they said championships I was trying to figure out what the Horsemen had to do with the game.
