10 wins doesn't get us in the playoffs

I'm looking at some of these teams who are struggling early and some of the teams who have started hot, and I don't see how 10 wins gets us in the playoffs. I think if you don't win 11 you're sitting at home this year.

Lions are are about to get to 3 wins. Chicago has three too. Can't expect the Pack to not be in the mix. I have to believe San Fran will be in the 10 win range. Too bad we aren't playing the NFC East this season.

I'm more interested in getting number two than worrying about that. So much can change it's impossible to predict the scenario that will exist regarding the playoffs.

9 wins might be enough to get that last wildcard spot this year.

Very rarely does 10 wins not get you into the Playoffs. It is still the benchmark. And has been said, the NFC is off to a slow start. We get to 10 wins, we should be ok. I know some on here hate seeing you say ok, but in this context, I think ok is ok.

Which of these NFC teams that you're watching has you scared? None of the teams I'm watching is impressing me except maybe Detroit.

All Im worried about winning really is our divisional games. We win our division we are playoff bound. End of story!

AFC was 11-3 against the NFC going into this week. 9-7 with good tie breaks might be enough for a Wildcard spot this year. 10-6 will definitely get us there.

We are going to need some help catching the Aints. I know its still early, but they have a 2 game lead already.

That said. I don't expect them to keep this pace up. That D has not been tested yet. Let's just hope they come back to being the team we all think they are.

But yea. If we can continue to play well, we can have a shot. Because at this point in time, I still believe, this Division is up for grabs.

Hence why the NFL badly needs to expand the playoffs. Why so many people are against playoff expansion is beyond me. All the NFL needs to do is just have one more wild card per conference. People seem to have this notion that by doing that you will suddenly start seeing 6-10 and 7-9 teams constantly make the playoffs and that just wouldnt be the case.

It is a joke you can go 10-6 and not make the playoffs.
