2014 QB Talk

I see the Jags, Texans, Cleveland, Minnesota, Cardinals, Bucs (6 teams) as the teams to target a QB in round 1.

In rounds 2-3, I can actually see the Giants, Rams, Bears, Eagles, and Titans taking one for back-up/insurance/or competition purposes.

no chance the bengals are looking for a replacement for dalton

Probablut I thy not, but they may well look to add a mid-rounder such as Murray or McCarron. Although these guys don't project to be NFL stars, they can keep all the cogs moving if Dalton falls apart/ gets injured.

Bortles was great again today.  He's really carrying that UCF team to wins in the 4th this season and looking like an NFL caliber QB.

Hundley and Boyd seem to have dropped off some radars but I still like both.

Looking at the league right now, it seems like the Texans have a chance to pass the Jags depending on their upcoming games.  If the Jags split with them, Houston has a decent path to #1 but they have to lose to Oakland tomorrow to start things off.

I have a feeling there will be a good amount of QBs taken this draft before the end of the 2nd.  I just don't know if anyone outside of Bridgewater is really worth a 1st if Bortles doesn't declare.  Carr is interesting and the SEC QBs each have their respective question marks.
